The Lost De'Luca

Chapter nine

I went to the bathroom and did my morning routine. I tied a fluffy towel around my body and searched for an outfit to wear



I tied my hair in a messy bun and hesitantly made my way downstairs

I got to the dining room and saw everyone waiting for me. I took a shaky breath, instead of sitting down, I got on my knees infront of Antonio with my head bowed

"I'm sorry for how I spoke yesterday I made a mistake, please forgive me. I couldn't keep my anger at bay and I lashed at you sorry" I said softly

I could feel all their gazes on me but I just kept my head bowed. I felt someone wrap their arm around my biceps and pulled me up, I finally looked up and saw and saw Antonio smiling at me lovingly

"Don't ever kneel in front of anyone ever again bambina, have your pride you're a De'Luca and you always be one. I am happy you're apologizing but I was never mad at you, no matter what you do I'll never hate you" he said cubbing my cheeks and kissed my forehead

I smiled gratefully at him and wrap my arms around his neck inhaling his, scent. I will always feel so safe with Antonio, he is my safe place given as he is my eldest brother

I love him a lot I know it's early to say I love someone I just met but he's my blood, I feel this strange yet extremely strong connection with all of them. I guess the saying is right blood is thicker than water

"Thank you" I mumbled on his chest and he kissed my temple

"It's okay bambina. Now sit down and have some breakfast" he said and pulled me to sit next to him

When we finished our breakfast, we decided to watch a movie. I'm currently cuddled up between Xavier and Matteo. As much as I hate physical contact, I let them be, besides they're comfortable

We just finished watching 'The Fall Out' and we're about to start another movie when the front door burst open and I flinched slightly

"Hello Famiglia!" A guy yelled as he ran into the house. Did he say Famiglia?

"Shit how'd you guys get pass security?" Domenico asked but I could see the wide grin on his face. Just as he said that, alot of people came in

"Who would dare to stop the old De'Luca. I would have cut off their head!" An older man said with a husky voice. Woah he looks scary. For an old man he looks very fit, still well built, stood tall with a flat stomach. Impressive!

"Who's this" A guy who looks exactly like the one who first came in said with a scowl

"Seriously Matteo, Xavier. You had to bring your slut home?" Another guy sneered glaring at me and I returned the favor

"Watch your shit hole I'm nobody's slut" I said with a hard glare and he chuckled

"I can see why. Even a slut is better than you" he said and I fought the urge to just get up and rip his throat out

"Say that one more time and imma slit your throat" I threatened making the strange people glare at me. One guy even pulled a gun at me

"Guys calm down, she's not who you think she is. Angelo put the gun down please" Antonio said worriedly, stepping infront of me protectively

"Then who the fuck is she?!. Is she so important?. She fuckin threatened my brother!" The guy I now know as Angelo yelled in anger

"Umm this is Gabriella... Gabriella De'Luca" Antonio said and I watched all their eyes go wide

"You're lying...she?. No she can't be" A taller guy said in disbelief

"No I'm not, she's our sister Nico" Antonio said softly and turned to me

"Bambina meet our cousins, uncles and grandparents. Please introduce yourself" he said and my eyes widened for a split second but I quickly put on my mask, replacing every emotions I felt with a cold and blank look

"I'm Gabriella" I said nonchalantly

"I'm your favorite uncle Carlo. I'm your father's youngest sibling, this is my wife Isabella and our boy" The tall friendly looking man said and pointed to a sweet woman who was already looking at me with a sweet smile all the whole nudging the guy who called me a slut earlier. I like you but your son's got issues

"Bruno" the guy said coldy and turned away from me. I couldn't care less

"I'm Romolo, this is my wife Savannah and our sons" A semi strict looking bulky man said and I turned to look at the sweet woman who was staring at me. She's beautiful

"Bambina I'm Diego. God I missed you so much!" The guy who came in first said and hugged me tight

"You're gorgeous bambina. Ohh you're gonna be a heartbreaker when you start school" he gushed with a silly grin making me chuckle. I like him, he's like Matteo

"Damon" the other two growled clearly showing he doesn't like me. The feelings mutual buddy

"I'm Derek, your oldest uncle" A strict replica of the old man said, his face hard

"And I'm Lisa his wife and these are our sons" A beautiful raven haired woman said. Okay is everyone here beautiful?!

"I'm Angelo, I'm so sorry for pointing a gun at you" Angelo apologized and I scoffed inwardly. Ya didn't seem sorry five minutes ago

"I'm Nicolo, it's nice to meet you bambina" the older one said with a warm smile

"Now moving to the oldies. This is our grandfather, Ricardo" Antonio said and I looked at the old man who just kept glaring daggers at me

"And our lovely Grandmother, Milani" he said pointing at a sweet old lady who looked at me with teary eyes

"Oh my baby is finally back. I missed you" she said and wrapped me in her arms. I slowly brought my hands upwards and wrapped them around her. Burying my face in her hair
