I walked all the way to school and by the time I reached, it was already 20 minutes into the first period. I sighed knowing it's gonna be another lecture once I open that door
"You're late" Mrs Lucia said with an ugly frown on her already ugly face
"No shit" I said and sat that the back. Not long after me, Alessio came in but he didn't get a scolding, can you believe this woman
"Are you okay? You look pissed" He asked as he took the seat next to me
"Family's being a pain in my ass" I said and he chuckled lightly
"But you're okay though right?" He asked and I shrugged
"Depends" I answered and put my ear pods in. I rested my head and slowly fell into a dreamless slumber
I woke up when I felt someone tapping me, I looked up to see Alessio staring down at me, God he looked like a god
"Time for the next class" he said and lightly tugged my hand, making me stand up and I stood there rubbing my eyes
"You're cute" he said and I flipped him off, my next class was art so I don't have a problem
"Why are you following me?" I asked
"Art is my next class" he said as a matter of fact and we walked in the class
"Welcome my dearies" the art teacher said with a warm smile. She was a sweet middle aged woman and by far the only teacher I respect. We sat next to each other as she placed a canvas on each of our tables
"Now my dearies, I want you to bring your imagination to life. Draw whatever you want!" She said enthusiastically throwing her hands up in the air, making everyone laugh
I took my pencil and stared at the canvas for a long time before drawing what came to mind. I gave my hands control and let them do whatever they wanted to on the canvas. It took a while but when I was finished I looked at the drawing with a longing look

"Okay times up, now let's see what you all have drawn shall we" the teacher said and began grading everyone's drawings. She got to Alessio and I peaked at his work, it was beautiful, it was of a man wearing all black with a hood covering his face
"Amazing Alessio, can I take this?" She asked with twinkling eyes and he nodded
"It's your turn Gabriella" she said and took my drawing.
"This is amazing" she stated with a small gasp. Alessio took a look at my drawing and casted me a look
"It looks amazing, can I hang it on the wall in the hallway?" She asked me and my eyes widened for a spilt second. I composed myself and shook my head, she gave a sad look
"I can make you another one just not this one" I said and she was back to being happy
"Are you okay?" Alessio asked
"Yeah why wouldn't I be?" I said and he shook his head
"Your painting, I just have a feeling that there's more to it. Like a hidden meaning" he said. I have to keep my distance from him, he's smart, he'll figure me out
"That's not the case. I just thought about it and was like 'why not'" I said as calmly as I could. He squinted his eyes at me, he obviously doesn't believe me
"Then if it meant nothing why did you refuse to give it to her?" He asked and I sighed in exasperation
"Because I don't want to. What is this, an interrogation?" I snapped and the bell rang. I thanked God for that and I immediately left the class
Going into my next class, I saw Nathan and Kyle so I sat with them. They gave me a smile and I offered one back
"Hey so all of us are going to the movies later today wanna come?" Nathan asked
"I actually can't" I said softly. I feel terrible, they are my friends and we haven't even had time to bond because I was always push them away
"Why not?" Kyle asked
"Got grounded for a month" I said and their eyes widened
"Well shit" Kyle said and I let out a chuckle
"Do you want us to get something from McDonald's for you?" Nathan offered and I eagerly nodded
"That'd be great" I said
"Ms De'Luca, Mr Laurier and Mr Chen do you mind shutting up!" the rude ass teacher yelled at us
"No need to be so rude" I fired back
"Right I forgot your last name is De'Luca, all of you are a bunch of annoying brats, you De'Luca's act like you own the place simply because your brother is a shareholder. You stupid rich brats!" She ranted
"The fuck did you just say about my family?! Watch your damn mouth you cunt!" I yelled at her
How dare she talk about them that way. They may be dicks but they are still my family
"What did you call me? To the principal's office now!" She yelled and I showed her my middle finger before making my way out of the class
I walked to the principal's office and knocked. I heard a 'come in' and I walked in
"Ah Ms De'Luca yes do you want to explain yourself before I call your guardian?" The principal asked and I shook my head, I'll only explain when he gets here
"Why not?" He asked
"I won't say anything to you or anyone else until my brother gets here"
"Okay then" he said and called someone who I assume is probably Antonio
"Hello Mr De'Luca, I'm calling to Inform you of your sister's rebellious behavior, she insulted a teacher for telling her to be quiet. Please I kindly request your presence in the school immediately" he said and I glared at him. He's lying to him
I bit my tongue to hold myself from saying anything. We waited twenty minutes when the door burst open to reveal a pissed looking Domenico. Of all the brothers why did it have to be him
"Why am I here?" He asked as he glared slightly at me
