The Lost De'Luca

Chapter Fifty One

I drove back home and i could already feel the tension. I opened the door and came face to face with all my brothers as they glared at me

"Where were you?" Ales asked

"I-"

"I thought we had an agreement? You weren't supposed to be out the whole night. How dare you disobey me!" Antonio cut me off in anger

"No I got into an accident while I was coming home last night" I explained. I mean it's not a lie it's just not the full truth

"What do you mean?" Antonio asked softly as he moved towards me

I lifted the hoodie and their eyes widened upon seeing the bandage wrapped around my stomach

"Who the fuck did that to you?!" Stephano snapped

"I was heading home yesterday when some guy from a local gang stabbed me" I lied and their eyes widened even further

"I told you to call me if you needed me you idiot. Go upstairs and take some rest" Antonio said as he kissed my forehead

I didn't have to be told twice and i walked as fast I could to my room. Less than a minute later, my door opened and I turned to see Dom staring at me

I avoided his gaze and started limping towards the bathroom. I was almost there when he grabbed my hand and pulled me back. He raised my hoodie and sucked in a deep breath

"What exactly happened to you bambina?" He asked still not tearing his gaze from my wound

"I told you guys downstairs" I answered and he glared at me

"Do I look fuckin dumb to you?. You're lying, you may have been telling the truth about the wound but you're certainly lying about how you got it. Tell me the truth right now" he snapped at me

From the look in his eyes I could tell he was getting angrier by the minute

"Do you trust me?" I asked and he stared at me for some time before nodding

"So trust that I'll tell you when the time is right" I said and he clutched his hair in annoyance

"When exactly is the right time? You're hiding a lot of things from us, that's not okay" he said tiredly

"Soon" I said and I pushed him out of the room

Time skip- two days later
I went down and saw everyone already seated as usual. I sat down and started eating quietly

I wanted to go back to my room quickly to avoid questions. Everything was going good until Tony decided to open his mouth

"I found out that Franklin, the Don of the English mafia was murdered at his own party" he said and I paused

"Yeah. Rumors have it that shadow and Ace came together to kill him. I wonder what he did to provoke the two most dangerous assassins in the world" Ales said and I chocked on my food

I was immediately handed a glass of water and I gulped it down. I looked around to see them still staring at me

"I'm okay" I assured them

"I don't think he provoked them. I think someone hired them to kill him"  Dom said thoughtfully

"Yeah a picture of his dead burnt body was posted on the dark web. Thank the Lord you got out of there Domenico, the whole house burnt down five minutes after you left. Everyone who attended died" Leonardo said and almost immediately, Dom looked at me

Fuck

"I wanna set up a meeting with Ace. But it's almost impossible to meet him" Antonio said

Oh fuck they want to meet Ace. What the fuck do I do?

"Why though?" Xander asked the question that was currently running in my head

"Well I want him to work for us. He'd be a great addition to our mafia" Tony answered and I smirked inwardly

"But you just said it's almost impossible to reach him" I said in fake confusion

"Dom will get to him. He's good at that" Tony said and I turned to Dom to see him still looking at me.  A look of suspicion crossed his features

"Hmm I'll get started now" he said and went to his room. Well this is a huge mess. How the fuck am I gonna get out of this?

"I'll go to my room now bye" I said and immediately went to my room. I pulled my phone out and called Enzo

"Hey Els you okay?" He asked

"Enzo I need your help" I whispered desperately

"Calm down. Why are you whispering? What do you need my help with? Are you hurt?" He asked concerned

"I'm fine for now. My brothers want to set up a meeting with Ace" I whispered again

"Oh shit" he cursed

"Els can you sneak out and meet me at the warehouse?" He asked, breathing heavily like he was running

"I don't know. Dom's suspicious. I have a feeling he might want to talk" I said

"Els" he said in a serious tone and I straightened up. Enzo is never serious

"Yes?"

"It's time. You have to tell them" he said and I sighed knowing he's right

"If they do get in contact, can we use the top floor?" I asked

"The base is yours as well. You don't have to ask" he said softly

"I love you Enzo, thanks" I said

"Take care. I love you too" he said and I hung up

It's settled then, I have to reveal myself to my family. I wonder how they'll react.

I heard a knock on my door and I sighed already knowing who it was. I opened the door and Dom walked in

"How did you know that the house was gonna catch fire?. And before you say 'ill tell you when the time is right' I want the answers right now or I will bring this matter up with Antonio and you know exactly how that will end so don't fuckin waste my time" he warned

"I just happened to know" I answered

"The only two people who knew what was gonna happen in that place was shadow and Ace. I have seen shadow before so I know him" he said and paused as his eyes widened in realization

"You're Ace" he said in shock

"Yes I am" I said. There's no point lying anymore, he already figured it out

"I can't believe this. My sister is an assassin, do you know how dangerous that is?!" He screeched

"Yes I do. I've been doing it for a while now so believe me when I say I know exactly how dangerous my job can be" I said

"We have to tell the others" he said and I shook my head

"Not now. We'll tell them during the meeting" I said and he shook his head with a sigh

"You are one stubborn girl bambina. I'm actually shocked that you were able to keep it a secret for so long. Just tell me what you're up to from now on" he said and hugged me

I could tell he was relieved after knowing the truth. I can only hope the others have the same reaction to this news
