Chapter Sixty One

Gabriella's pov-
"How?" I asked after I managed to gain control of my emotions

"The doctor told me about some scars they found on your body. I knew Emilia wouldn't do that to you so it could only be Luke.

The only question I have for you bambina is why didn't you tell Emilia? She may have left us but I know for certain that she would've done everything in her power to save you from him" he said and I looked down at my hands with a sigh

"He said he would kill her if I told her about it. One time I tried to tell her when she was about to leave me with him for six months

He managed to convince her to leave without me and then gave me a beating. He wanted to sell me off to some strange men so I ran and that's how I really met the Greek mafia" I explained, not daring to look up at him

"Look at me bambina" he said and lifted my chin up so I could look him in the eyes

"None of what happened was your fault. You don't have to feel ashamed, the only person to blame is Luke and I'm sorry he died so easily" he said and I paused

"He isn't dead" I stated

"Bambina-"

"No you fuckin listen to me. He isn't dead okay, he had talked to me several times. It wasn't a fuckin prank it's real and so is he" I snapped at him

Fuckin tired of them treating me like I'm crazy. I know what I'm saying

"Are you absolutely sure? I mean I killed him" he said reluctant to believe my words

"You didn't kill him. You're a don please use your brain, what if the person you killed wasn't the real Luke?" I stated and he frowned at me

"I'll overlook that insult because you're in a hospital bed" he said and I rolled my eyes at him

"But are you a hundred percent sure that he's alive?" He asked and I nodded

"Fuck" he cursed as he rubbed his hands on his face

"I feel like he's working with Viktoria" I said and his eyes widened

"Then we're only getting started. Things will get far worse from here" he said with a look of dread

"Bambina" he called out and I looked at him

"Did he ever touch you in an inappropriate manner?" He asked and I hesitantly nodded

"Did he ever-"

"No. He had tried to before but never succeeded" I said

"Does everyone know?" I asked softly

"No one. It's your decision and you can tell them when you're ready, do you want to tell them?" He said and placed his hand on mine

"Not yet" I said and he nodded in understanding

"Can we fuckin come in already!" I heard Xander yell from outside the door

"No one has patience in this house" Tony muttered under his breath

"Come in!" I said and they all piled into the room

"Finally. It's like Antonio didn't want us to see you" Xander said with a glare that was directed at Antonio who seemed unfazed

"I hope whatever you risked your life for was worth it" Stephano said with a blank look

My eyes widened and I remembered the file

"You don't have it do you?" Stephano asked with a deadpan expression

"Of course I don't fuckin have it I just woke up" I said
