Chapter Fifty Three

Third person's pov-

The brothers stared at their sister in bewilderment, not able to believe what was right in front of their eyes.

"How is this possible?" Leonardo breathed out heavily.

"I already knew" Alessandro said, shocking everybody, including Gabriella.

"What?" She asked in shock.

"I may not speak alot but it doesn't mean I'm dumb bambina. Every time you snuck out of the house, I saw you. You aren't that sneaky, I also heard your conversations with Dom" he explained with a shrug.

"And you didn't tell me?!" Antonio flared.

"Not my secret to share" Alessandro said, he seemed unfazed by Antonio's heated gaze.

"Wait I'm sorry did you say Domenico also knew?" Emilio asked, his hand still placed on his bleeding cheek.

Domenico looked around the room with a sheepish look on his face, he casted Gabriella a slightly worried look and moved closer to her.

"Well I didn't know at first. I only figured it out just a couple of days ago, and I gave her my full support" he justified.

"You guys knew this and didn't even think to tell me? I'm her fuckin guardian, you tell me, what if something were to happen to her?" Antonio lashed out and Dom bowed his head, looking guilty.

"Nothing happened to me so leave him alone" Gabriella answered back as she held Domenico's hand tightly.

"What-"

"Calm down Antonio. I would have told you the instant I felt like she was in danger" Alessandro said as he placed his hand on Antonio's shoulder.

Antonio's gaze met that of Gabriella's and he sighed heavily. The thought of something happening to her because of her work frightened him, he lost her once and he was determined to not lose her again.

"You have to quit your job as an assassin. You will no longer be going on any missions from now on" Emilio spoke in a hard tone and Gabriella turned her gaze to him.

"Can I punch him?" Stephano asked as he moved closer to Emilio but was held back by Leonardo.

"You are sick in the head if you think that I will listen to you of all people" she stated.

"Do you hear how she speaks to me?" Emilio asked Antonio who had been quiet ever since.

"You need to watch your words Emilio. Right now I am not your sister but Ace and believe me when I say that I won't hesitate to slit your throat if you say anything disrespectful to me again so I suggest you watch your mouth" Gabriella said in a grave tone, her eyes trained on him the entire time.

Emilio lowered his gaze when he heard the tone she used on him. At the moment all he wanted was to get away from her and that's exactly what he did.

"The only person's opinion I care about right now is Antonio's" she said and Antonio finally opened his mouth.

"Would you listen to me if I told you to stop?" He asked.

"No" she said with a slight smile.

"Then you have my support. Anything to make you happy, just please don't sneak out. Tell any one of us if you have a mission and we will provide you with whatever you need" he said and pulled her into a warm and comforting hug.

"Well this went better than I expected" Domenico commented and Antonio glared at him.

"Shut the hell up" Antonio commented.
