Chapter Fifty Nine

"Antonio?" I called out when I got into his room. He was sitting at a study table with some papers surrounding him

"Yes bambina?" He looked at me curiously

"I wanted to know if it would be okay to go to school tomorrow" I said softly.

"Do you have to?" He asked hesitantly

"You know I do. I have to talk to Alessio. I feel like he knows something" I answered and he sighed

"Alright then" he said

"I'm also going to get the file today" I said

"Okay tell me when you're ready I'm coming with you" he said and I shook my head

"You can't sorry" I said and he frowned

"And why is that?" He inquired

"Because the men in my warehouse would suspect immediately they see the Don of the American and Italian mafia there" I answered as a matter of fact

"Okay but you're still not going alone. Ask Domenico to go with you" he said,  rubbing his head

I walked to him and pulled the papers away from him

"You're tired Tony please get some rest" I said softly, looking at his tired and sleep deprived self

"I just need to finish this work bambina. I'll get some rest after I'm done" he said and I shook my head

"You always do this. You're overexerting yourself, leave all this for some time and just get some sleep" I said and he sighed before nodding

I picked all the papers and arranged them. I don't trust that he'll get some rest after I leave here so I'll be taking the papers with me

"Give me your phone" I ordered and his frown deepened

"Bambina I promise I won't work you can't take my phone" he said but I just continued staring at him and he reluctantly dropped the phone in my hand

"Please get some rest brother. I don't like seeing you like this" I said as i walked out of his room

I went to Alessandro's room and knocked on the door. It opened immediately and he looked at me curiously

"Is there something you need sorella?" He asked

"Yes. I need you to keep these with you and ensure that Tony gets some rest, he's stressed but is too stubborn to sleep, which is why I took his work and phone from him" I said and pushed the paper and phone into his hands

I watched a smile grow on his lips as he looked at me. He patted my head lovingly

"Thank you bambina. I've been trying to get him to get some rest but he wouldn't listen to me, I'll make sure he gets some rest don't worry" he said and kissed my forehead

I left him and went to Domenico's room. I walked in and found him wearing glasses and looking intently at the file

"May I help you bambina?" He asked as he turned his gaze from the file to me

"We need to get the file out of the warehouse" I told him and he took of his glasses

"Something wrong?" He asked

"No I just figured the sooner we get the file the sooner we put an end to all this" I answered honestly

"Hmm okay. I'll get ready, meet me at the garage in ten minutes" he said and I nodded

I went back to my room and looked for an outfit to wear. After getting dressed, I rushed downstairs and went to the garage

I saw Domenico already in the matte black ferrari.
