Chapter Sixty Three

Gabriella's pov-
I finally had a plan, one that I couldn't tell any of my brothers. They certainly wouldn't agree but it's the only way to end all this.

I tried calling Enzo one more time but the call wouldn't go through. Maybe I need to stop by the base

With that thought in mind, I took a shower and got dressed. I went to Antonio's room to ask for permission but he wasn't there

So I went to Dom's room and saw him reading a book. When he saw me, he put the book down and smiled at me.

"I'll be out for a while wanted to let Tony know but I couldn't find him so I came to you" I said and he creased his brows

"Where?" He asked

"To meet a friend" I answered vaguely

"Do you think it's safe to go out? I mean, what about Viktoria?" He asked in concern

"I'll handle it" I said and walked out of his room

I took my keys and went to the garage to get my bike. There I saw Landon, Noah and Ethan making their way towards me

"Guys, hi" I said awkwardly

"We need to talk" Landon said gruffly

"Can it be later?. I need to go somewhere" I said and their expressions worsened

"Actually it can't. We've ignored it for some time now but not anymore" Noah shook his head

"Ignore what?" I asked totally confused

"The fact that you've been acting different, what happened to us being friends Ella?. It's like you don't even notice us anymore, what's going on?" Ethan said and I sighed in realization

"Right, I know I've been distant but alot has been going on and I didn't have the time to talk, I'm sorry if you guys felt like I was ignoring you but that's not the case

I just need some time. When this is all over I promise things will go back to how they were" I said, desperate to try to get them to understand

"Why can't you explain to us now?" Landon asked

"Because right now I'm in a hurry" I said bluntly

"Alright, we'll leave" he said and walked away, Noah and Ethan following behind him with disappointed looks on their faces

I feel bad but I have to sort this out first

I got on my bike and made my way to the base. When I got there, I saw some of our men but couldn't find Enzo

"Hey Fredrick, do you know where Enzo is?" I asked the guy in charge of security in the base

"Hello Gabriella, I think he's in his office. He's been acting weird, he seems to be very stressed. Could you try talking to him?" He said

He has been acting weird, Enzo never ignores my calls so what's going on with him?

I went to his office and knocked on the door and heard a quiet 'come in'. I opened the door and saw him lying on the couch in the office

"Enzo" I called out and his eyes snapped in my direction and they widened

"What are you doing here?" He asked and I frowned

"What do you mean by that? I can come here whenever I want" I stated and he nodded

"Right, sorry that came out wrongly. I only said that because I know you've got alot on your plate and didn't expect to see you here" he explained

"I came here because you haven't been answering my calls and I had something important to tell you" I said and he looked around for his phone

"Sorry, battery died. What did you want to talk about?" He asked
