Life Anew

What it means to be born again
To be awaken from death
You never knew existed
Within you.

To forget yesterday and put it
All beneath you
To know who you are in His name
And breathe in His Spirit forever

To remember how u suffered Him
Once before.
Every sin and transgression
Committed just to spit Him
But He forgave you
When you let Him in

Now look at you dear child of God
The Lord is good
The Lord is great.
You feel the need to share
His gospel
The Good News that
You are loved eternally

You were convicted but
Now acquitted
You were lost but now found
Dead once upon a time
Today alive forever in His name

You run shout out boldly
For you have found the true
Fountain of youth
True love without question
An answer to every question
Marvelous is the Lord.

I watch you proclaim His name
Quick to join I run
I shout His name along side you
Bearing witness
For I too have a testimony to tell
He did the same for me.
With my mouth I confess and profess
Jesus Christ is God.
