Forgive Me

I say this prayer
Time and again
Always said in
Remembrance
Thinking I have
Learnt
That I recognize
Your light
Believing I have
Faith that can
Never be shaken
Yet I stumble
I fall apart
I break and curse
You
You prove You are
God
Forever faithful
To Your unfaithful
Children
You put me back
Together
Show ways beyond
My comprehension
Show me kindness
I never afford You
So once again
Covered in shame
Filled with repentance
Forgive me Father
