Who am I to you?
Birds fill the skies of different kind
Beasts roam the earth
Various in form
Creatures of the waters too many
To count yet many
Are undiscovered
Planets barren or fertile
Carry life as decided by You
In the universe adorned
By Your magnificent stars
All this too great for
My own life
Yet you chose mine over these.Am I so precious in your eyes?
Heaven was in crisis
Before clocks counted time
The stars fought among each other
Many for You and true to Your name
Those against carried envy
And darkness
You defended Your Honour
And throne forever
Cast down the fallen stars
With lightning and majesty.
To the sons of God
Who corrupted and seduced
Daughters of men
To the abyss You sent forever
So such will never occur again
Protecting children of men
Yet my sins are many
I spat and cursed You
To Your face when all went wrong
You forgave You hung on to me
Why would You not righteously let go?Is it that I am loved
For I was created in Your Image?
So many creations
Worship their Creator
Yet You long for my own kind
Why is that?
Holy beings stand in Your Presence
They stand loyal and true
Forevermore to Your Highness
Still Your heart yearns
For my own kind
Why suffer Yourself?
Who am I to you?
What does it mean truly
To be called
A child of God?
