𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆, we had gone to the drain that Ward lost the gun in. We hoped that it would have washed out by now but we couldn't see anything so far. "This is the north drain. It should've gotten washed into the gully. So, if it got flushed out from this drain, it would've pushed it out to, like-" JJ spoke up.

"Somewhere in this trash." The Heyward boy finished off for him.

My boyfriend nodded, "Correct."

Kiara huffed in annoyance, "Oh, my God. People who use plastic should be shot."

Olivia nodded in agreement whereas I rolled my eyes at the girl. Here goes another lecture.

"Okay, personally, I love plastic. Use it every day. Love the stuff." The blonde boy teased.

The Carrera girl scrunched her face up, "Hopefully, you recycle it and don't just let it flush into the ocean."

Pope smiled, "I thought you'd say something like that so I bought trash bags." He said, holding them up so Kie could see.

The girl smirked, "Did you just proactively protect the environment?"

He shrugged teasingly, "Maybe."

I frowned at the two, "Do you want us to leave you two alone, or what's going on?" I teased.

The Heyward boy responded by throwing a bag at my chest, "Pick up the trash."

"No." I denied it, handing it to my sister. "Riley can do it."

After a few moments, everyone had successfully picked up the trash surrounding the drain and there was still no gun. "If it's not in the trash, then it's gotta be in the storm drain." The dark-skinned boy told us.

JJ nodded, "It's definitely in the drain."

"Damn it," Liv muttered under her breath.

"Of course it is." I scoffed. "So, are we gonna do, like, rock, paper, scissors? Or alphabetically? Or like, oldest goes?"

The blonde boy shook his head, "Nah. In the sewer, there's this worm that you get when you're down there. It gets into your blood, and then it has to come out of your pecker. So that would be a hard pass for me."

"That's gonna be a no for me." Pope and Kiara said at the same time to which I looked at them weirdly.

I laughed, "No, I get it. I get it. You guys are scared."

"I'm not scared." The Maybank boy denied it.

"It's the pecker thing," Pope said, trying to reason with me.

I chucked, "You should've just led with that. You don't have to be scared. I'll do it."

Liv frowned, "Are you sure?"
