𝐁𝐈𝐆 𝐉𝐎𝐇𝐍 𝐖𝐀𝐒 dead. It was hard on the Madison family. Mostly Phoebe Madison.

Life is harder and weirder than you think. Sometimes the biggest victories come with the greatest losses, and sometimes the biggest villains are also unexpected heroes. When my mom came back, I thought it was a dream come true. But what I found is, life doesn't give you oceans without waves.

Big John wanted to make a great quest of his life. He wanted adventure and he wanted to find treasure. Just like Phoebe. But without her partner in crime, it worried me for her.

"An expedition of one man and one woman, Big John Routledge and Phoebe Madison. Two young adults and a group of teenagers who are with us today. Locals, who grew up here. And succeeded where centuries of conquistadors, explorers and admirals failed. Today, we come together to celebrate these people, friends from both sides of the island who came together to solve this 500-year-old mystery. Let's hear it for them."

The crowd erupted in cheers as we stood from our seat. I leaned into my boyfriend's body, feeling proud of ourselves.

As the cheers died down, we all moved from our places on stage and walked to our nearest table, "We need to celebrate." I grinned, taking out a blunt from my bag.

Pope hummed, "I'll take one hit."

I fakely gasped in shock as an older-looking man approached us, "I'm sorry to interrupt. I just wanted to tell you how it's remarkable what you all did. Royal Merchant, El Dorado, Denmark Tanny. Impressive. I was wondering if you'd all be so kind as to look at an item of mine."

"What's that?" Pope asked.

"It's a manuscript. I would investigate it myself but I'm too long in the tooth. I need partners and you were all first on my list." The man spoke.

"May I?" The Heyward boy asked, holding out his hand.

He grinned, "I was hoping you would."

"1718," The boy read, "This is old. Exhibition notes, dates. This is a captain's log. This shows the exact position of the ship."

The older man nodded, "The exact location where the ship sailed and where it stopped."

"Who was the Captain?" Milo asked.

"Edward Teach. Blackbeard."
