𝐖𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐃 upon one of the containers as we looked over the view, "There's like a thousand trains here." Riley said with an eye roll.

"Well, we know it's car 750X on the track to Raleigh," Pope told us.

JJ nodded, "Yeah, so now we've just gotta find it."

I scoffed, "Well, news flash. We're not getting out of here unnoticed with a giant cross."

"She's right," The Carrera girl agreed.

"We won't have to," Pope said, "We can nab it somewhere further in the country. We just gotta figure out how to stop the train."

The blonde boy spoke up, "Leave that to me. I've got an uncle up in New Bern. When he got tipsy, he'd just throw an old chain across the tracks, just for shits and giggles. And that old little chain would stop all the train traffic in coastal Carolina."

The dark-skinned boy nodded, "He's right. There's a low-voltage current that runs across all rail tracks. Throw a chain on it, you close that circuit. It would read as another train. Crossing lights come down. Science is actually pretty sound."

JJ chuckled, "Science. I knew my science."

Milo frowned, "But we don't have a chain."

"I bet Topper's dad has jumper cables in the truck." Sarah suddenly spoke up, "Would that work."

"What's going on? Are we doing this?" The Thornton boy suddenly shouted from below them.

I rolled my eyes as I spoke sarcastically, "That boy needs to learn some patience."

"You all wait here," Cleo told us, "Me and Pope will go look for it and send a signal once we find it."

"Do we actually have a plan right now?" The Cameron girl asked in surprise.

The older Madison smiled, "I think we do."

"Let's not jinx it." I laughed as my boyfriend helped me down from the container.

Pope and Cleo left as we waited for our signal. We watched as Pope climbed the train until we heard a loud noise, "What was that?" Kiara frowned.

The brakes hissed and the metal clanked as the train started up, "Shit." I muttered as we made our way to Topper.

"Hey, I just wanna make sure everyone here is okay with ending up in federal prison." The boy panicked.

JJ nodded, "If it gets to that, yeah, I'll do it for Pope."

Everyone climbed into Toppers truck as I positioned myself on the back of my boyfriend's bike.

We drove to where the train's lines connected as I jumped off of the bike, "Is this far enough?" I asked.

"It should be." He said as he sorted out the wires, "There. It should be going red now ."

I looked up and noticed the still green light, "Come on. Come on. We don't have a Plan B."

"Yes," JJ grinned as the light turned red, "Come on, let's go."

He interlocked his fingers with mine as he dragged me to the side of the track. The train screeched as it approached and started to slow down.

We were crouched behind the bush for a while until the train started up again, "Oh, fuck. We've gotta go help them."

"Come on," The blonde said as he helped me onto the bike. We watched Topper's car drive past us as we followed.

The cops were heavy on our tail as JJ sped up so he was now beside the truck, "Pretty girl, get ready to jump." JJ spoke up.

"What?" I yelled in disbelief.

Milo held out his arms for me to fall into as I stood onto the seat of the bike and climbed into Toppers truck. I fell into the Hayes' boy's arms as we watched my boyfriend's next move.

"What's he gonna do?" Cleo asked in fear.

"I don't know," Pope answered.

I scoffed, "I don't think he knows either."

"JJ." Riley called out, "JJ. JJ, you fucking idiot." She yelled once we saw JJ stop in his tracks.

"Topper turn the fuck around right now," I ordered him.

"No way. I'm not going to jail." He replied.

"Topper, I swear to fuck, stop the car and go get JJ." I cried.

"Absolutely not." He yelled back.

"Turn around, man," Milo yelled, his tone scary enough for even me to flinch.

The boy watched in fear as he quickly turned around, "Okay. Okay. Okay. Just relax."

I suddenly watched JJ and his bike fall off the bridge in a pile of dust.

I had never jumped out of a car so fast as I ran to the accident. Cop cars were starting to appear on top of the bridge but I didn't care. I only cared about JJ.

"JJ? JJ?" I yelled, "Where is he?"

Pope shrugged, "Maybe he's up on the bridge."

"No, no," I repeated as tears began to fall down my cheeks. I turned to Riley who looked equally as worried, "Riles, what? No." I sobbed.

"I wish I could say I did that on purpose." The blonde boy suddenly appeared, "That was the gnarliest power slide I've ever done."

"You're alive." The Heyward boy yelled in happiness as he pulled his best friend into his arms.

"I know I was surprised too." He laughed, "Oh, God." He grunted as I watched Riley push him forcefully before bringing him into her arms.

"You're a fucking idiot." She said into his neck.

The two pulled away as I moved closer to my boyfriend, "Don't. Don't ever do that again. You hear me?"

He only sent me a small nod as I went to sit back in the truck without a second thought.
