Namjoon carries Seokjin to the hospital as fast as he can, while Taehyung keeps putting pressure on the wound. He holds on his sobs, as Hoseok's t-shirt is soaked in blood. Taehyung takes a few seconds to stare at his unconscious boyfriend, and he wonders if he ever looked as pale as he does right now. His cinnamon skin completely gone. He won't make it.The boys follow them right behind. Yoongi puts his back closer to his body, needing to grab onto something as the doctors put Seokjin on a hospital gurney. They run towards a hallway and the doors close, taking him away from them.
Yoongi passes his hands through his hair and pulls it a bit before letting out a long sigh. They've got injured before, but never at this level. Before, he would never have thought one of his boyfriends would die, but now he's not sure anymore. He comes back to reality when sobs reach his ears and turns around. Taehyung holds a shirtless crying Hoseok in his arms, and Yoongi rushes to his side. He doesn't give a shit if Jungkook's watching, he doesn't give a shit if their fucking company finds out. Nothing matters more than the boys to him.
Nothing.
He places a long affective kiss on the sobbing male's forehead and rubs Taehyung's hair to get his attention. Taehyung understands him and pulls Hoseok up with him. Yoongi cups Hoseok's face, but he refuses to look at him, muttering something under his breath.
"Hobi, you need to get changed." Jimin sniffs. "We've to wait for a few hours, but the doctor said he still has a pulse. He's not dead, he—he'll survive."
Taehyung massages Jimin's shoulders from behind. He kisses his cheek and some tears away, even if tears also stream down his face.
Jungkook observes them beyond awkward, but deep down his heart hurts for them. They don't have the best relationship, but he doesn't wish death to Seokjin. He looks around the hospital, missing someone. Namjoon seats on one of the waiting chairs, alone from everyone. Unlike the others, he doesn't have tears in his face. He plays with his fists with a lost gaze, his eyes staring at whatever he has in front of him.
Jungkook hesitates for a few seconds, but he ends up walking towards him. He lets an empty chair between them. He plays with his piercing, memories from years ago invading all his senses. He gets goose bumps and shakes his head, as if the small fragments of moments would slip away.
He glances at Namjoon. "This sucks, huh?"
Namjoon doesn't answer.

Yoongi doesn't try to stop Hoseok from crying, as he holds his hands and walks with him to the bathroom. The boy sniffs a few times, hiding his face with his hands.
"This—this is all my fault. I should have waited for him—no. I should have noticed he wasn't behind me. How could I let him alone? This is all my fault, if he dies. . ."
"Babe, this is not your fault." He wets the hospital towel with warm water. "How could you know it? What could have you done? Nothing, maybe both of you would have gotten shot. Maybe right now you could be—" He bites his tongue, not letting himself finish the sentence.
He can't and don't want to imagine a life without Hoseok. The boy who has always been there for him for as long as he can remember. He guesses they're similar to their fathers, but so different at the same time. They turned out to be all what their fathers weren't.
He rubs gently the piece of cloth against Hoseok's chest. It seems to calm him, as his sobs decreases, but a few tears still run down his cheeks. Yoongi wets the towel again, but this time the water turns slightly red and Yoongi stares at it for a moment.
He takes his time cleaning Hoseok. When he finishes, he dries his skin using the other end of the towel. He opens his backpack and grabs the first shirt his hands can find. Yoongi helps him to put it on and kisses his swollen lips.
"Babe, you should wash your hands. Seokjin will scold you when he sees you holding his hand with those dirty hands." Hoseok doesn't mutter a word and turns around, facing the sink. "Let me help you."
Yoongi turns on the water and places Hoseok's hands under it. He washes Hoseok's hands with his own, using extra soap to get rid of all the blood. He caresses his hands and slowly Hoseok's tears stop falling.
"Thank you, Yoongs. For everything."
Yoongi leans his forehead on his and kisses him gently. "'I love you' will never be enough to express how I feel for you and the boys, but for what it's worth, I love you."
Hoseok cups his face and kisses him a bit more passionately than he should have in a hospital bathroom.

Jimin falls asleep resting his head on Taehyung's chest and Namjoon keeps his lips sealed. Taehyung keeps bouncing his feet, watching the nurses movements. New ambulances arrive every now and then, but Taehyung lost his count in the fourth. Sometimes he keeps glancing at the two women, waiting not so far away from them. He wonders what goes inside their minds, or what happened to the man they took in half an hour ago.
"If you keep bouncing your feet, you'll make a whole." Jungkook blurs out, his eyes fixed on the window in front of them.
Taehyung scoffs at his comment.
"At least don't place your foot near mine, you hit me twice."
Taehyung rolls his eyes and bites his finger. "Move if you don't want to get hit."
Jungkook ruffles his hair. "Why don't you go for a walk? Your body definitely is asking you to move."
"Are you blind? I don't want to wake up Jimin."
Jungkook shrugs. "I can stay with him. Namjoon's also here."
"You're definitely blind. Don't you see Namjoon isn't actually here right now?" Jungkook frowns and turns his head. Namjoon keeps playing with his fists not sparing any of them a glance. Taehyung has definitely lost it. Despite their mutual dislike, he doesn't roll his eyes and holds himself from making any comment that could offend Taehyung. "I don't know what you want from my Chimmy, but stay away from him. He doesn't even like you."
Jungkook clenches the fist Taehyung can't see. "Why everyone thinks I want to do something to him?"
"Why do you always want to be with him? Let him alone."
Jungkook's heart sinks, but he ignores it. He opens his mouth, but the doors of the emergency room opening and closing catch the both males' attention.
Their eyes follow the doctor approaching the two women. They can't hear their conversation, but the oldest woman falls to the floor, a hand covering her mouth. The other kneels next to her, hugging her.
The doctor stays a few more seconds before he turns his back at them and walks away.
The man died.
