The Bangtan Boys spent a week organising all their belongings and decorating their rooms based on their own taste. The real chaos began when they went to the centre of their neighbourhood to buy the decorations for the main rooms. Before, they never had a problem with decorating their flats. Working all day and fighting for their own lives—why would they have cared how their home looked?
But they're a family now.
Namjoon bought the house, they can stay for as long as they want. No two-year contract or a second person telling them what they can or can't do.
Even if Jungkook and Yoongi have a similar style, it was different for all the rest. Namjoon, stepping into his leader's shoes for a moment, proposed a neutral decoration. Not too bright, not too dark.
He called it simple.
They kept the light brown furniture and the white walls, the big crystal chandelier, too, while three pothos and a bonsai gave life to the living room.
In their little shopping trip, they came across an art gallery. All of them purchased the painting that spoke to them. Some now hang in the living room, while the others adorn the hallways of the second floor.
Seokjin elbowed Namjoon when the main room was finally all dressed up, as Yoongi said, at last.
Namjoon grinned.
"I know what you did," Seokjin whispered in his ear.
"Will you complain?"
He shook his head. "I like your taste. It's calming."

Jungkook opens the door of Hoseok's room and stays still for a moment to take it all in; pages of old newspapers spread on the floor, drop clothes covering all the furniture, and Hoseok standing next to two red paint cans, along with paintbrushes and rollers, his head slightly raised staring at the white wall.
"So, are you really going to paint your walls?"
"Yep."
"Good. Can we talk for a minute?"
Hoseok turns around. "Only if we both are painting."
Jungkook shakes his head, with a not-surprised smile on his face. "Sure, why not?"
Hoseok throws him a brush and Jungkook catches it effortlessly.
"You love matching everything with your hair, don't you?" Jungkook jokes, brushing the paint smoothly on the wall. "Almost like a cartoon character."
"Uh, hello? Everything about you matches your hair, even the tattoos. Black won't make your obsession seem less obvious."
Jungkook chuckles. "Fair enough, Unicorn."
Hoseok stares at him for a second longer. "Why do you always call me that?"
"Because you're like a damn Unicorn. With glitter and everything. Always happy, cheerful, hopeful."
"I'm not always like that."
"But you chose J-hope for a reason, didn't you? You're our hope, really."
"Woah, thank you JK. You're so kind to me today." he returns to paint the wall, reaching as high as his arm allows him. "What do you want from me?"
