𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝟏𝟐𝟑

Jungkook hopelessly waits for Tiger between sunrises and sunsets, but Taehyung's always there with his sweet, friendly smile. The kind of smile that makes his bread cheeks more prominent, melting his heart—Jungkook can't resist it.

But his thoughts always come back to him.

Will Tiger disappear again? Is he dying while I'm here doing anything to save him?

"Jungkook! Yah, Kido!" Yoongi calls the younger for the third time, louder.

"Huh?"

"Was your mind in the clouds?" Hoseok teases, with a grin on his face. The same grin he had earlier when he wished him good morning.

Jungkook sips on his cold coffee. "Sorry, I was just thinking. What's up?"

"I hope you were thinkin' 'bout how to kick those bastards' asses." Yoongi scolds him, gently. "We all made sure we've got everything we need. Do you have everything?"

Jungkook nods. "Yeah, I'm ready. Let's go."

The drive to the mansion remains quiet, the air filled with tension and anticipation. They crafted their plan with precision, having sub-plans covering everything that could go wrong. Yoongi completely believes, with all his heart, they'll win.

Jungkook steals quick looks at Taehyung, who keeps his eyes on the road as he drives at a comfortable speed. What if I don't see Tiger ever again? What if I die? What if I die without being able to say goodbye? How will Tiger react? Will he become the same person that left Jimin behind? Who was that Tiger? Was he the one I first met?

"Kookie." Jimin whispers, startling the younger. He was too lost in his thoughts, longing to see the alter's eyes one more time that he missed his best friend turning his face at him. "Don't worry, it will work out. We're all together again. Seven."

"Seven." Jungkook whispers, holding his hand and intertwining their fingers.

He breathes, letting Jimin's touch ease the pain in his chest. Jungkook convinces himself he won't die today, he'll see the galaxy in his boyfriend's eyes again. Maybe today. Maybe he decides to show up in the middle of the chaos to give Taehyung a rest.

Unlucky for him, in the first part of the mission they don't work together. Nevertheless, if Tiger takes over, they'll find each other. Like they always do.

If the Bangtan Boys remain together and work as one, no one will stop them.

Nor Bang PD, nor Mimi, nor her men, nor Dora.

No one.

We'll fight, because our lives depend on it.

If someone knows best how the Bangtan Boys work, that's Bang PD.

Nobody will expect them to take over the mansion, killing everyone and destroying everything that comes their way—they've been too gentle, too passive. They've kept themselves hidden long enough, waiting for the right moment, and now it's their turn to reclaim their freedom.

Yoongi came up with the idea. Before they started planning this mission in detail, everyone knew they had two points in their favour. The first one: the unknown. Nobody in the mansion is waiting for them. They won't see them coming, after all.

The second point: change strategies. The Bangtan Boys always worked in similar ways, the same pairs always stayed together to enhance their abilities and guarantee their win, but that's over.
