Namjoon's heart skips a bit when he bumps into the two strangers he met yesterday. After he fixes his jacket—only to calm his nerves—he realises they've been waiting for him in the corner before he could reach the company.

Yoongi's holding the pink napkin in front of his face with a smirk, none of them are wearing a mask this time.

"What are you doing here?" Namjoon questions looking around, just in case a familiar face is keeping an eye on him.

"I promised I would return you the clean napkin, remember?"

"You're not returning it to me," Namjoon remarks, his eyes coming back to them. "You can't return something that's not mine."

"Then I'm giving it to you." Yoongi stresses, imitating Namjoon's choice of tone.

"But - but why?" Namjoon eyes shift to Hoseok, hoping the redhead is not as dense as the short one.

"Our friend wants you to have it."

"Why me? And - and who are you? For god's sake, I'm late!"

Namjoon runs his hand through his hair, a habit that hasn't changed despite all the brain washing Mimi and Bang PD did to him.

Hoseok stares at Yoongi, but his boyfriend only shrugs and lowers his hand.

"Please, can you keep it for us?" Hoseok asks gently, moving to a side to let an elder woman pass. "We can't explain it to you right now, but it would mean the world to us if you could have it."

Yoongi's eyes widen and stares at Hoseok, while Namjoon blinks dumbfounded.

"Uh—what? Explain me what?"

"Please." Hoseok insists, ignoring Yoongi's silent screams. He takes the napkin and slowly places it in Namjoon's hand.

The silver haired man removes his hand quickly, but still holds the piece of clothing. He shoves it in the inside pocket of his blazer. He mutters something under his breath and walks away from them before they can stop him again.

"It would mean the world to us if you could have it. Hoba! Do you want to scare him away? A stranger would never say something like this. And we're strangers to him right now."

Hoseok gasps. "Sorry, but you were scaring him away! He thinks you're a weirdo! Both of us!"

"He never said so."

"You could figure that out with half a brain, Yoongs."

Yoongi pinches the bridge of his nose and takes a deep breath. He doesn't want to fight with him again.

It's a delicate topic and everyone is having a hard time, including Jungkook, who has grown to admire Namjoon for his qualities as a leader, but he would never admit it to him—

perhaps he would. Now that he understands what it means losing him, perhaps Jungkook would let him know if he stood a chance.
