Throughout the dinner, Seokjin proposed to everyone the idea of Namjoon leaving tomorrow for the mission, which the boys agreed with heavy hearts. They revised the plan a few more times, Yoongi reminding their leader to call them at least once a day to update them on his wellbeing and the situation.

The Bangtan Boys can't come near the Redish company, but perhaps Namjoon can escape once a day to meet them somewhere a bit far from all the controlling eyes when the situation dies down and everything comes back to, what Mimi and Bang PD believe, 'controlled'.

Dora won't take her eyes off him, that bitch. Seokjin thought, chewing harder on the dumpling.

Taehyung kept glancing at Jungkook from time to time, the younger staring at him until the bear boy blinked and looked away. The tattooed male tried to decipher what the brown eyes hid, but couldn't figure it out.

On the other hand—luckily for him—Jimin ate quite relaxed, enjoying the delicious food while celebrating another mission accomplished without complications, if they forget Jungkook's almost death. Since only Taehyung saw him him unconscious, the boys don't hold onto the goosebumps sensation that hunts the bear boy when he remembers it could've been the last day he saw his nasty boy.

Jungkook takes his chance when Taehyung's busy cleaning the table with Hoseok and rushes towards Namjoon.

The silver haired male yelps when he almost shuts the door closed against Jungkook's face.

"Hey, can we talk?"

"Are you alright?"

Jungkook rubs his hands against his sweatpants as Namjoon steps aside to let him in. Namjoon mirrors the younger's movements, only sitting at the edge of the bed when Jungkook does.

"I think so," he finally answers. "But I need to talk to you before you go."

Namjoon frowns, trying to read his face. "Did I do something wrong?"

Jungkook shakes his head. "I did. There's something I didn't tell you, I was too confused when I had the chance."

Namjoon refrains himself from combing Jungkook's messy bangs with his fingers. "When?"

The younger male takes a breath, closing his eyes for a moment. "I may regret this when you remember me. Are you completely sure you like me Joon? No second thoughts?"

"No second thoughts. I like you, JK. I don't care who you've been in my life before or what you did. I like you."

The security in Namjoon's voice soothes his nerves a little bit. He admires Namjoon, he always tried to incorporate him in the group, even if he acted like a damn jerk. He cared for him when no one else did, even if he just did it in the name of leadership.

Jungkook and Namjoon were cool with each other before Mimi's men abducted him. Nevertheless, his confession might ruin what they had and that terrifies him.

He can't lose any of them.

It took a kidnapped, brainwashed Namjoon, and his almost death sentence for him to realise it, and he curses at himself for it. How could he be so blind? The boys had been in front of him every day for almost a year, but he never saw them, never acknowledge them as potential lovers.

Perhaps now it's too late.

"You won't regret it the day you remember me, right?" Namjoon opens his mouth, but Jungkook continues before he can utter the first word. "Well, you can't know that until you remember. What a stupid question, sorry."
