Chapter 24 (who done it again?)

Tara and Sam were at the detectives office being questioned about what happened. I really wished Tara had stayed inside.

A few days before the frat party, Liv had left town because her grandma was sick. She told Chad to stay and not miss his studies, but she was back in town...at the wrong time.

It was me, Mindy, Anika, Chad, and Liv in the living room, waiting for Tara and Sam.

"So it's happening again?" Liv asked.

"Fucking gosh." I groaned putting my face in my hands.

"You need to get out of town." Chad told Liv.

"I just got back." Liv said.

"I don't care." Chad said pacing the room.

"We should all leave." Liv said.

"Too obvious, whoever is tryna kill us will follow us." Mindy said.

"And where will i get more plane ticket money?" Liv asked.

"Me." Chad said.

"Baby, I can't leave you here." Liv said.

"YES, you can, and you will." Chad insisted.

"Maybe Sidney has a safe house somewhere, I'll text her and ask." I said.

"Thank you." Chad replied.

"We were all hurt last time. Why should I be the only one safe?" Liv asked.

"Whomever we can protect, we will. Maybe Anika should go too." Chad said.

"I'm fine Chad." Anika replied.

"Mindy, you need to be on the next flight to California." Chad said.

Mindy got up and stopped Chad from pacing to hug him.

"I'm gonna be ok." She said.

"There's no way out of this." I mumbled, looking down.

Everyone remained silent for a moment.

"That's certainly what it feels like." Mindy replied.

"The only way this will stop is if we kill them. The question is, how many of us have to die before that happens?" I said.

"I'll be the one to die first before i let any of you, fuck that, we need to start arranging plans on leaving, Sam was right." Chad said.

"It's time to stop trusting people." I said in a dead tone.

Everyone looked at Anika.

"You guys, I was with you when Tara and Sam were attacked." Anika said.

"The normality is that there's most likely two or more killers." Liv said in a low voice.

"And you always suspect new people." Chad said.

"Ethan and Quinn were also with us though." I said.

"Yeah, but how often do we have eyes on either of them?" Mindy said.

"Tricky." Liv said.

"Never trust the love interest is kinda played out, Tara said the killer stated 'you're gonna pay for what you did Samantha'." I said.

"Referring to Woodsboro?" Chad asked.

"Most likely." Liv said.

"Which means whoever is doing this knows what happened in Woodsboro." Mindy said.

"The killer called from Richie's number." I mentioned.

"Maybe somebody is out for revenge." Liv said.
