Last time in I was reborn in demon slayer as an Uchiha

I turn my head around and notice that Kanae was still sleeping and when I look at her eyelid I notice that her eye were moving from time to time and most of the time it mean she going to wake up soon.

I then realize that she will be very hungry when she wakes up, she slept for a whole day, and I noticed a pinkish glow around her chest area and I could tell that was the seals working overtime.

I slowly got up from the bed and made a shadow clone," can you please go buy some grocery, make sure it's enough to feed a starving Uchiha, actually make that 2" I said to the clone, the clone nooded before he vanished in front on me.

I went back to the bed and fell back on it, I wasn't willing to risk something going wrong while I was gone, I saw how her skin can go from smooth and soft to pale in sickly in a few hours.

Now we continue where we left off
Time-skip 20minutes
The bed shook as Kanae finally opened her eyes, she groaned as she held her hand with a slightly pained expression on her face.

"You alright," I said after waiting for her to calm down, she look like she had a slight migraine but apart from that she doesn't seem to have any other sort of problems.

"I'm fine just a bit light-headed" She answers softly.
"That means the seal is working thank god," I said before I let out a sight that I didn't know I was holding in.

"Seal," She said looking at me confused
"When you were passed out, your skin turned pale and looked dried of any energy. So I had to rush and make a seal to sustain you" I said explaining everything that happened so far.

"I see," She said with a thoughtful expression.
"Oh you made a flower-shaped seal that's adorable," She said switching the subject, she had grasped what was happening and didn't need Atoru to say anything else, she could make out everything that happens after she passed out.

"You like flowers and you are the flower pillar so I added it, I thought it would fit your aesthetic," I answer.
"Oh that's so thoughtful of you," She said smiling,

I smiled and responded before my smile faded away as I wanted to tell her something, and she notice my smile vanishing.
"Oh why do you look so sad all of a sudden," She said with a thoughtful expression.

"Were you looking at other girls while I was unconscious, how dare you~" She said in a playful mood(A/N....it never happen...)

"No, why would I do that, you are sick and you couldn't even stand why would I be looking at girls when you were so weak, I'm not that kind of person," I answered. (A/N, I almost mess up your character, sorry about that)

"Just joking with you, don't need to get so serious," She said in a very playful mood
"Good to know that sickness didn't change your cheerfulness," I said

"Now tell me what got you so worried," She said
"First you might need to eat, you haven't eaten anything in a while," I said when I remember the last time she ate anything was roughly a day in a half.

"I'm not hungry," She said before I heard the sound of a hungry stomach, the sound lasted for around 5 seconds before it calmed down
"You sure about that," I said after the noise calmed down.
She was embarrassed and it show on her face, it was an adorable sight to behold.

"Maybe I'm a tiny bit hungry," She answer after a while of just looking away from me.
As soon as she said that the door opened and a clone walked in with 15seal in his hands.

"Why are they so many seals, I don't think I can eat all of that," She said after seeing all of the seal.
The clone reached her and put a seal on the bed and a bunch of food appear.
"You didn't eat for a day so you should probably eat," I said as the pile of food was hiding half of my face.

"You don't think I eat that much do you," She said looking at me with judgy eyes.
"You don't, but what inside of you those," I said truthfully

"I was the one supposed to tell you that," She said sounding hurt
'Yep that's the Kanae I know 'I thought to myself

"Sorry about that but my eyes can see life energy and your belly basically just brimming with it and it's isn't yours," I said scratching the back of my head.(A/N when he say it isn't your it mean the life energy I just wanted to clarify that)

She laughs before she decided to start eating, she ate everything and I mean everything all fifteen seal worth of food gone, keep in mind each seal had enough food to feed an entire family, so she ate 15 times the amount a family of 5 would eat in a day combine.

I was stunned, I was expecting her to eat a lot but that much, where is all this food going, those she has some sort of limitless black hole in her stomach.
"I guessed that I was a bit hungrier than I thought," She said after she wiped her mouth.

"You think," I said with eyes that said you serious
"Don't," She said getting a bit serious for a second.
I got my warning and didn't try to do anything I might regret.

"You wanted to talk about something," She said changing the subject again.
"Oh yeah, the seal you have in your chest is helping but it's not enough for you to wield a sword anymore," I explained.

"Ok and....."She said that she was expecting something worse.
"That's about it, the seal won't be able to handle all your activity as a demon slayer" I explained
"Can I still be do the activity I do as a nurse?" She asked

"Yes," I answer.
"Then that's fine, I will just retire," She said like it was the easiest thing in the world.
I was a bit flabbergasted, she seem to notice and said" What I'm not going to leave him without a mother" as she rubbed her belly

"The second is this might need to stay a secret" I said thoughtfully
"You don't like me anymore because I'm pregnant how dare you, I thought you loved me ~", She said in a teasing mood

"Not because of that, I just don't want it to find out, I have a kid that will make it so much harder" I answer truthfully

"Oh if that's what you worry about then that's okay," She answer.
"I might need to take a short break from the corp because I can't do mission with the constant thought that you may be in danger," I said after a while.

"You can still do one once a week, you don't have to stop for that long" She said looking at me
"Fine but they will be short mission," I said as I saw the look on her face that told me she wouldn't let me stop for so long.

A/N the more I write this the more I realize this is dragging on so it's going to be over by next chapter, I also spent some time reading other fanfics and novels for ideas.
