"We will bleed. Who the fuck does she think she is? The mafia?" I speak to the group as we all finish reading the Gossip Girl blast.
"It can't be Ms. Keller though, she's literally behind bars." Julien voices.
"This has to be some sick prank, right? GG can't possibly be back." Audrey says.
"I mean..it looks pretty real." Aki states as he shows us the app on the app store.
"It's not real unless we make it real." Westin now speaks.
"He's right. We all just won't download the app. How can she be relevant if we don't engage with her." Julien voices.
"Deal." Max says after we all share a look with one another.
"Deal." Declan follows suit.
"Deal." The rest of us end up saying together.
We had gotten so distracted by the blast that we forgot the scene unfolding with Monet, Kennedy, and Priya.
Priya's phone goes off suddenly though.
After a few minutes she moves her phone from her ear briefly and tells Kennedy, "We'll finish this at her house."
Seeing Priya's retreating figure Kennedy turns to Monet glaring hard.
"You have no idea what kind of hell I'm about to unleash on you. Should have thought twice before messing with me." Kennedy states before walking furiously into one of the elevators.
Monet simply smirks at us all before grabbing a drink from a server and returning to the main part of the party.
About one month later
Cappuccino 1 cup 150 calories
Caramel iced coffee 1 cup 175 calories
Frappuccino 1 cup 200 calories
Black coffee 1 cup 5 calories
There we go, I can do 5.
5 is manageable.
5 is enough to get me through till tonight.
"Ma'am, ma'am."
"I'm sorry, what?" I speak snaping out of my thoughts.
My eyes move from the menu to the face of the friendly barista.
"What can I get you?" he questions.
I take back the friendlessness.
He looks pissed.
Geeze, sorry.
"One Black Coffee please." I respond.
"That will be $5.00"
I hand him my card before my eyes look back to the menu.
This is good.
"Your card!" he exclaims.
"Woah, dude take it easy." I hear Julien say as she gently puts her arm through mine.
"Oh, I'm sorry." I state apologetically.
"Whatever." He huffs.
"Well, someone pissed in his coffee this morning." Julien laughs as she guides us to a booth in the corner of the coffee shop.
"I guess. I don't know I was kinda of distracted while ordering." I defend the barista.
"Distracted about what?" Julien questions as we sit down.
