Chapter 79

Willow's POV

"I'm gonna throw up."

"No, you're not." I laugh but do a double take at Liam in my passenger seat as he looks a little green in the face.

"If you do, I will kill you." I voice, giving him a stern look.

He shakes his head with a pained look on his face.

"We should just go back to your place. We could use a nice quiet night in." Liam suggests.

"Liam!" I laugh loudly.

"We are not doing that. You have been talking about this for the past week. You are doing this! Get your shit together, dude." I smile.

"Wait, why are you slowing down? Are we here?" he questions in panic as my breaks squeak softly.

"I'm stopping because we're at a stop sign. I mean, I could run it if you want?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.

"Don't threaten me with a good time." He scuffs from his seat as he holds onto the arm rest tightly.

"You need to relax. He's your brother." I sigh as I press on the gas.

"Yeah, and I haven't seen him in over six years." Liam says.

"And who's fault was that?" I try to say this without sounding accusatory.

Neither him nor Declan have clued me in on what exactly went down all those years ago but I'm hoping after their reunion dinner tonight I'll have some answers.

And if I don't get answers from that...well I've already come up with a plan on how to get answers.

"It was mine. I know. I know." Liam sighs, running a hand over his face.

"I'm just nervous, okay?" he slides down in his seat.

"And that's totally expected just please pull yourself together... just a little bit." I reply from beside him as I put the car into park slowly.

Stopping at a few shops from the restaurant I pull the keys from the ignition, "Okay, look at me. You are gonna be fine. Declan is chill, you're chill. Together it's gonna be one chill session and reuniting of brothers." I muster up a pep speech but it kinda of sucks if I'm being honest.

Liam doesn't know about Declan's and mine past yet.

I'm hoping Declan will be the one to bring that up tonight so that I don't have to.

"You're gonne be okay. I know it!" I exclaim encouragingly as I bring my lips up to his in a short peck.

Liam's whole body relaxes at my touch.

Feeling him smile softly against my lips I let out a light laugh as I pull away.

But he's grabbing my face with his large hands to join our lips together again.

I try not to groan into the kiss, so that he doesn't get distracted.

He needs to actually meet his brother but boy are his lips tempting.

He bites my lower lip wanting to take this slightly further but a loud knock on my driver's side window causes us a to jump apart in startlement.

"Willow, hey." I hear Declan's voice from outside.

I roll down my tented windows.

"Declan, hi." I voice, waving softly.

I had no idea he had memorized my car.
