I feel like i've lost years i haven't lived-September

New Day

15 (Tuesday Sep. 25th)

It was only 7:30 when she went to bed but the girl was definitely tired because she slept until around 9am the next day. Only waking up when Phil came in and got her up, however unlike last night she didn't put up a fight.

Phil walked into the room and sat down, gently running his fingers through her hair

"Carson, its time to get up bub. You got that appointment in two hours sweetie."

The girl groaned and rolled over. Part of Phil was worried this would be a do-over of last night, but after a few minutes of her sitting there she slowly turned towards the man.

"Phil i don't want to, please can i sleep a little longer?"

"I'll let you sleep for fifteen more minutes while i make breakfast okay? But then you have to wake up. No arguing, Deal?"

The girl nodded and rolled away from Phil. But the man wasn't giving in till Carson said that it was a deal. He pulled her back towards him and looked at her

"What?"

She said confused, but when she remembered last night she realized that he was probably waiting for a proper response to know she wouldn't throw another fit.

"Oh, sorry, deal."

Phil patted her leg slightly and stood up to go make breakfast. He walked down into the kitchen and saw his three boys sitting at the table talking.

The boys stared at Phil with a questioning look on their faces.

"She went back to bed, im waking her up when breakfast is fully ready."

This cleared up the kids confusion and they quickly went back to their conversation. It wasn't long until breakfast was ready and the blonde man went to go wake Carson again

"Hey love, come on. Breakfast time."

She groaned and very reluctantly got up. Looking at Phil for a second

"Get out."

"Carson we made a deal."

"Yes i remember. But me changing in front of you was not in that deal. Get out."

"Okay but you know i have to wait by the door."

"Oh yeah.. well still get out and wait by the door."

Phil just nodded and went to the door. Carson wasn't technically supposed to be alone at all. Her Psych evaluation showed she was severely suicidal and showed obvious signs of PTSD. However today was when she was to be properly diagnosed by Eret.

After a few minutes Carson walked out of the room in new clothes and they both walked to the dining room for breakfast. As they were eating breakfast small conversation went on between all of them. Tommy was very happy to see Carson was in a better mood from last night and honestly so was everyone else.

"So, Carson.. Y'know the people who came over last night?"

"Yeah?"

The girl looked at Phil confused. Why was he bringing them up again?

"Well uh. If you're okay with it they would like to come over again later today."

"Um.. well after the appointment right?"

"Yeah, but only if you're okay with it."

"After the appointment?"

She clarified again.

"Yes love, after the appointment."

"Okay"

The girl said while nodding her head slightly. Phil was going to ask again after the appointment to make sure she was still okay with it. However Carson was always a really set kid, never flipped her opinions or decisions. So he had a feeling that she would still say it was okay, even if it wasn't
