Carson opened her mouth to speak. To say any explanation, or just any words in general, but nothing came out. So she closed it, cleared her throat and tried again
"He grabbed me.."
Her voice broke as she said this and both boys agreed if you looked at the girl in front of them you wouldn't see Carson. Instead you would see a very small, very broken, very scared child.
"I didn't.. I didn't mean to- to push him. I- oh i broke my promise."
She murmured the last part, more to herself then anyone. Both boys looked at Carson confused, Sam being the one to actually respond to her.
"Hey, you had every right to push him okay? No ones mad at you for that. Im sure whoever you promised wont be either."
Carson nodded her head slightly, staring at the floor. Once again seemingly lost in her own mind. What she was thinking about though, was something only Carson would know. The things she was reliving were things only Carson would live through.
"I don't want to go back please.."
Sam nodded his head, starting to stand up.
"You don't have to. But i think we need to go report that substitute, is that okay?"
The girl lightly nodded her head and with the help of Luke she stood up. All three of them started walking to the counselors office. They didn't really know how to report substitute teachers but they did know that that teacher doesn't need a job if thats how he acts with all his students.
Sam was the one who went in to talk with the counselor, because Carson said she couldn't. So as Sam talked to the counselor Luke and Carson got to know each other a little better. Well, more like sat in almost complete silence while Carson tried to get a little more sleep before her next class.
These next two hours weren't going to be good, all three knew it. But for now Carson would sit in the guidance office and wait until her sixth class of the day started. Carson managed to get probably forty five minutes of rest before she had to move to her sixth class of the day.
The three started walking to the classroom, with Carson in between the two boys. However no one spoke a word during this walk. Instead they stayed in a comfortable silence, with Carson being more guided then actually walking.
Once they got to the room the three sat down the same as they had before. Carson was still dead silent despite a few people talking to her and asking questions. She just stared at her desk thinking. Or what people thought was just thinking. However Carson was actually reliving everything that was once done to her. Things far to graphic to put into detail.
