I feel like i've lost years i haven't lived-September

After school ended both boys walked Carson to Phil's car. They told him the important things that happened and then went off to their own rides home. Carson sat in the backseat, now tracing circles into Ranboo's hand instead of Lukes. The boy didn't mind, it was actually sort of soothing to him. Similar to what his mom used to do whenever he was sick.

Phil was obviously worried about the girl, he knew that substitute probably set back alot of progress with Carson.

When they got home Phil asked Tommy to take Carson's bag and put it away while him and her talked a little bit. This time he didn't make the mistake of going to his room, instead going outside to the swing.

Carson was holding Phils hand and tracing circles into it the same way she did with the other two. Phil figured it was better then the alternative of her rubbing her burn open. He knew how she got the burn, it was obvious, she was burned with a cigarette and very deeply at that.

The two sat down on the swing and Phil just looked at Carson for a second before speaking

"Hey sunshine, whats going on up there hm?"

Phil was gentle as he spoke. He always was actually. That was something Carson liked about him, he had a way of comforting her even when she didn't want to be comforted.

Carson took a deep breath and looked at Phil, still lightly tracing circles into his hand.

"Do you think Mrs. Em is going to be upset with me tomorrow?"

Phil looked at her confused

"About what?"

"Leaving gym when that guy.."

She trailed off

"No, bub i don't think she's going to be upset. But i'm having Tech call the school while we're talking, if that substitute is going to be there tomorrow i'm gonna keep you home for the day. Is that okay?"

Carson hummed slightly in agreement. She wasn't to keen on the idea of seeing that man again anyways.

"Im sorry for hitting the wall.."

She spoke quietly, upset that she broke such a simple promise so soon.

Phil, however, just held his arms open in offer for a hug, which the girl gladly accepted.

"I'm not upset with you for hitting the wall sunshine. We'll work on it okay?"

Carson nodded her head in agreement and the two sat there with Carson's head leaning against Phils chest in silence until Techno came out from the house with his phone in hand.

"So um.. that substitute is supposed to be there for the next week. They said that what happened to Carson got quite a bit of reports on him and he'd likely be removed on Monday or Tuesday. At first they were still going to say it was an unexcused absence but after we talked a bit they changed their minds."

Techno smiled lightly at the end, making Phil raise an eyebrow at his behavior.

"Did you threaten the school Techno?"

The brown haired man only smirked and walked back into the house without answering.

Phil sighed and looked down at Carson who was trying not to laugh. The sight made Phil smile and start laughing with the girl.
