-Jason-
I walked into Clare's room, to find her, no joke, staring up at the ceiling, as she calls it, 'star-fishing', in which her arms and legs were just spread out on her bed, I shake my head, smiling, I walk over to her. She instantly, sits, cross-legged, looking at me with her blue eyes could not hide the bored, yet happy look in them.
"You're not going to say hi to your new alpha?" I said, frowning, but smiled when she smiled.
"Really?!"
"Yeah, your dad just made me alpha, don't know why, but he did." I told her, she threw her arms around me, she was happy, I just stood, there, as she hugged me, suddenly, she leaned back and kissed me.
Which I really did not mind.
"This means you get to boss people around... and not have to have my dad's permission to do it... Hold on... does that mean my parents can't get mad at you for kissing me?" she asked me,
"Yes, to the first thing, and no to the second thing." I said, she frowned, but then went back to smiling.
I loved a dork, that is all I can say. I love a dork.

Before he could turn another page, Nick raced into the office, causing Jason to shut the book, and me to sit up from where I was laying on the floor.
"What's wrong?" I asked looking at Nick as worry and sweat covered his face.
"Natalie left... with a handful of others.... They joined Drake's pack." He panted.
I looked at Jason as his face fell and then became hard.
I guess this meant war....
