Waking up with faint red, puffy eyes, made my 'just woke up' look, ten times worse than normal.
I trudged into my bathroom and brushed my teeth, before even trying to attempt to brush out the mess of my blonde locks.
It took ten minutes, just to brush one side of my head, before I gave up and just went and got in the shower. I washed and rinsed my hair about twice, before finishing up showering. Turning off the water, I stepped out and wrapped my towel around me, before walking into my room, and grabbing clothes.
A pair of shorts and a blue and white flannel, I tugged on a grey crop top before putting on the flannel. I was pulling my hair up into a ponytail, when, I heard someone knock on my door, I turned and walked over.
"Yeah?" I asked as I opened the door, to see... Jason.
I frowned and walked away to go put on my teal old converse.
"Can we talk?" he asked, gently.
"Why?"
"Cause of last night," he said.
"Maybe, we shouldn't, think of that?" I said putting on the camo hat, I had gotten back when I was twelve, around the same time I got my hunting license.
"Clare, come on, we have to talk sometime." He muttered.
"Yeah, so that means, not right now," I said, as I grabbed my grey purse from my desk, he still was just standing there, watching me.
"Don't you have some alpha stuff to do?" I said coldly.
"Clare, please-"
"I don't want to talk about it, ok, just drop it." I said, before grabbing my phone and keys, before leaving my room, which he followed me out of.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
"You know, your acting like a lost puppy, it's kind of pathetic."
"And your acting like a kid throwing a fit," he said suddenly. I stopped in my tracks.
"What did you call me?" I hissed turning on my heel.
"I tried to talk to you, but you blew me off, so now, I'm just goanna talk, and you can listen and then go back to avoiding, but I'm goanna say what I need to say," he growled.
I crossed my arms over my chest and looked at him, pissed.
"I shouldn't have yelled at you, I get your trying to protect us, but you making deals with my brother, that freaks me out, he's not stable minded, I was worried about you, ok. And yeah, I was a jerk for saying that crap, I do trust you and your judgement, I just-." he explained.
"Before you say something stupid, let me just stop you, I'm not mad about the crap you said, just the fact that you admitted to not trusting my judgement when dealing with your brother and I do know that he's practically insane, so saying I don't know what I'm doing, when I clearly do, is just bullshit." I said, before leaving him in front of the stairs.
I got to my old blue truck and climbed in, I started it up, right when, the passenger door opened, and Jason got in.
"What are you doing?" I asked him flatly.
"Going with you," he shrugged.
"Why?"
"Because, today, I'll do whatever the hell you want, I'm not leaving till you except my apology and admit to being stubborn." He teased lightly.
