Judas ate too

Do I dare to be trusted? With my heart?
Dare I be free when I'm just like; exactly like the infamous Judas?
Betray the ones that we care for

How could I ever to be trusted? Would you ever give me the chance? Ever again?

When I know I would give it all up
For a bit of fame

But He knew
Jesus did know
But Judas still ate too.

And so the love was not spare
For what a loving a God we do have
It said it so in
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son..."

So I could have everlasting life with my belief

And He's so just
And
Fair
I know it so

With a kindness of His heart
I'm on my knees
Praying with a heart full of sin
And I am covered in guilt
But I can't help but want to mend my relationship with you my lord, my God

I know that He dares to care for me
A love to count on even when I fail

Its true and so one step at a time
I go
And my faith in that seed again
I do go

To show that I can be with the one once more

Cause I learned
That Jesus knew
But Judas ate too
