I was a straight A student
The good girl
The nerd if you will

So I know the do's and don'ts in relationships
I am smart about that

So why am I in this predicament
Why am I THAT girl now?

The one who is just a friend with benefits and
caught feelings. Big mistake on my part

I knew better
I am better than this
So why?

I have the brains and the beauty, so what it is about you that has me under your spell

Why can't I seem to let go, I fight tooth and nail just to keep you by my side. Why?

What is it about you that I can't seem to let go. A part of me wants to but... the weaker part of me can't let you go
