The door is close to me
I keep banging and banging
I know I'm heardThe knocks echo so
But it just stays shut
Won't budge can't get past the wallMy tears of anger fall down
But I must not
Shall not give inMy voices needs to be heard for those though the door
My truth must be founded out by those in need
I know that I can't be savior but I have truth that needs to be knownLet the message out
Needs to be rung out
To ring the message trueBut how can I let them know?
How to make them listenTo get in I must give up
Something that I do lack
This is the riddle that keeps me chained
I have no tokens left to give
All my gifts take far away from meThis has always been my doom from the start
Only thing left to do is pray
While I keep knocking hard on the door
Please let me inIf only I could crease to be
Give into my faith
Seal it in placeJust like Sisyphus I'm pushing against a boulder only to have it fall back at the start
With not a one to open these doors
I'm stuckSink to my knees
Grovel if I mustPound and pound
Push against my might
When suddenly the door slightly gives
And light peeks through
Shining all around meTear stain on my face
With one foot in the doorway
Found the GatewayAnd suddenly I'm finally in and I can say to them
"Finally, I'm here."
