~Charlotte's POV~
When I left Niall's bedroom I made my way into my own and shut the door as quietly as I could. I grabbed my phone off the nightstand. Remembering what Niall had said about the thin walls, I made my way to the furthest part of the bedroom, away from the walls Niall and I's bedrooms shared. Sitting down in the corner by the closet, I dialed my grandma's number, with the time difference it should be around 10:00 A.M. there, I thought. Knowing my grandma, I knew she'd be worried about me, she had been since the day she legally adopted me. Because of my past, my grandma had always been a little over protective of me, by being over protective I mean giving me a curfew of 9:30, on the weekends, I mean who gives a 17, almost 18 year-old a curfew of 9:30! That's what times most parties start these days! I learned to accept that though, I loved my grandma, she saved me from those hellish foster homes.
The phone began to ring, bringing me out of my thoughts.
"Hello?" Her familiar voice filled my ears.
"Hey, Grandma, this is Charlotte."
"Charlotte! How are you honey? How's Ireland?"
"I'm great, Ireland's beautiful!"
"Good good and how's Caitlin?"
"She's ok, she's a little sick, though."
She gasped "Oh poor darling!"
I didn't know what to say. "Yeah, but she's doing better."
"That's good."
There was a short pause.
"How are you, grandma?" I asked.
"Wonderful, don't you worry about me either, I am doing perfectly fine!"
I let out a quiet sigh of relief that I hadn't realized I had been holding. Lately my grandma's health wasn't the best, any time I was gone over a long period of time, I would worry about her. She would always assure me, though, that she she was perfectly fine, 'as healthy as an ox' she would say. My grandma wasn't the type to go around acting sick, if she was sick she'd be out with friends, if that makes any sense. She always tried to make the most out of everything, even if she was sick, which made it hard to tell if her health was deteriorating. The doctor had reassured me, though, that she was fine and had many years left ahead of her. There I go worrying again...
"Now for the big question." She started. "Any young Irish men who've caught your eye?" I could just see a huge grin on her face as she asked me this. Even though she was over protective, like I said before, she was always trying to get me to date again.
I couldn't help but giggle at the way she said this.
"There is a boy! I knew it!" She exclaimed.
I smiled "Oh my God, grandma!"
She laughed that friendly laugh of hers. "Don't you lie to me!"
I laughed and bit my lip. "Ok!" "There is someone!" I admitted.
"I just knew it!" A grin was evident the way she said this. "Tell me all about him! What's he like?"
I laughed, she was just like a teenager when it came to boys. I sighed, a smile still present on my face, as the boy who almost kissed me earlier, entered my mind.
