Ok, I just had this thought and had to let it out. I mean, I didn't just have it, it had been in my head for a while now but anyway...

Ok, am I the only one who thinks You Belong with Me (Taylor's Version)(DUH) sounds kinda like Lockwood and Lucy?

Ok just ignore the whole part about the boy having a girlfriend and focus on the following lines:

I wear T-shirts

Lucy wears T-shirts. A lot.

If you could see that I'm the one
Who understands you
Been here all along
So, why can't you see?
You belong with me

OK!!!!!! I know this part is just not very Lockwood and Lucy at all, I just thought I would add it. BUT THIS PART

And you've got a smile
That can light up this whole town
I haven't seen it in a while
Since she brought you down

Lucy always describes Lockwood's smile as one that "brightens the room" and THIS LINE: "It was warm but somehow hesitant as if it hadn't been recently used." she says when Lockwood came to her house in TCS. which brings me to this line:

Oh, I remember you driving to my house
In the middle of the night

HE CAME TO HER HOUSE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT IN TCS PEOPLE!!!!!

anyway, she in "since she brought you down" being Lucy herself. Lucy quitting the company had a huge impact on all the members of Lockwood and Co., ESPECIALLY Lockwood.
