i wake up quickly as olivia gasps, pushing herself off me aggressively as she sits up. "what's wrong?" i ask, sitting up too and turning on the lamp. she looks at me, out of breath. she moves forward, sitting on my lap and hugging me tight. "it's okay," i whisper. "stupid nightmare," she says, pressing her face into my neck. i rub olivia's back, "do you wanna talk about it?" i feel her shake her head 'no'. "just felt too real," she whispers. "just a nightmare," i say. "i know," she answers, "lay down, please."
i lean back and lay down, using my hand to turn off the lamp as olivia adjusts herself on top of me. "are you okay?" i ask, placing my hand back on olivia's back. "my heart is beating so fast," she chuckles softly. "i know," i smile, "your heartbeat's, like, pounding in my head." "really?" olivia asks. "no, i was kidding. it's louder than normal, though," i say, looking at the time, "it's almost three." "shit, you have work tomorrow," she says, "i'm so sorry." "don't be," i say, "i'm glad i woke up."
i turn off my phone alarm, rubbing my eyes. "good morning," olivia whispers. "good morning," i whisper back. olivia presses a kiss on my neck, and rolls off. she takes the blanket with her, and i get off them bed, spreading out the blanket.
i walk up to olivia, putting on the beanie she made. "i'll come by later," she smiles tiredly. "okay," i smile, bending down over the bed. she straightens my beanie, and i kiss olivia. i pull away, giving her a second kiss.
i smile as mom walks up to the counter. "hi! how's work?" she asks. "hi mom! good," i say, "how are you?" "i'm good," she chuckles, looking at the menu on the screen. i look back at her as olivia taps her on the shoulder. "oh, olivia, hi!" mom exclaims, turning around and hugging olivia. olivia laughs, hugging her back and looking at me. she waves, and i smile, waving back quickly. "i was just gonna get a coffee, but did you want to have lunch with me?" mom asks olivia, pulling away, "only if you're free, of course." "yeah, of course! i'd love that," olivia smiles, looking at me. "hey love. table for two, please," she says. "no problem," i say, walking them over to a table.
after getting olivia and mom's order, i walk away, hearing them start to have a natural conversation.
after taking another customers' orders, i start to walk away. i feel someone grab my hand, and i look down at olivia. i look at my mom, seeing she was on a phone call. i look back at olivia. "hey, feed me. i'm starving," olivia smiles. "getting there, it'll be soon. i promise," i chuckle. "i'm kidding," she laughs, tugging on my hand slightly. i bend down to her, and she gives me a quick kiss on my lips. i stand back up, "i'll be with you guys in a few minutes." "okay," she says, letting go of my hand.
i see conan walk in after i hand olivia and mom's plates to them. "oh my god, family meeting here!" conan exclaims, walking up to us. olivia laughs, and conan says hi to my mom and olivia, looking at me. "hey pookie-bear!" he exclaims, grinning.
for some stupid reason, conan has been trying to get olivia to call me pookie or pookie-bear. olivia refused, and i joked that i would break up with olivia if she called me that un-ironically. so, conan took it into his own hands and calls me pookie-bear as a joke.
i laugh, shaking my head, "hi, conan. did you want a drink or something?" "actually, yeah. i was gonna get it to-go, but do you mind if i join you guys?" conan asks my mom and olivia. they both agree, and conan looks at me. "can i pull a chair here?" he asks. "go for it," i say. "thanks pookie! i'll grab a black coffee with cream, please," he says, turning around and grabbing a chair.
i walk to conan with his coffee, seeing him take a fry from olivia's plate. "did you want something to eat?" i ask. "nah, i'm good thanks," he says. i place his coffee on the table in front of him.
olivia walks up to me after eating. "hey dork," she says. "hey pretty," i respond. she smiles, "can i just grab a drink, please?" "no problem," i say, "what would you like?" "i would like... a venti matcha iced tea, please," olivia says. "it's cold though," i say. "then i'll get it... un-iced... hot," she says. i laugh, "olive, if you wanna get it iced you can. i was just saying." "no, you're probably right, i'll get cold- well, i'm already cold," she says, "plus, i'm going to iris' with conan after so it's not like i can have a hot shower and stay in bed all day." "okay," i say, putting it on the screen.
i look at the cup as i think of what to write. i chuckle at the pun that came to my head, writing it down under 'oliveeeeeeiah'.
i hand olivia the cup, "you have to read it out loud." "oh gosh, okay," she shuffles the cup around, "why did the scarecrow get a promotion? he was outstanding in his field." olivia laughs, "you're so not funny!" "you still laugh at every single one, though!" i smile. "i know, because it's such a dork move that you remember them," she smiles too. "because they're great," i say. "if you think so," she says, leaning forward. i smile again, taking off my scarf. i hold both ends, throwing it around the back of olivia's neck. i pull her gently forward as i lean forward, kissing olivia quickly. i pull away, pecking her lips again. "smooth, dimples," she says. "i know," i chuckle, wrapping the scarf around her properly. "i'll probably be back by the time you get home," she says, "see you in... four hours." "see you in four hours." olivia smiles, walking away. "wait, liv!" i exclaim. she looks at me, walking back. "um... i forgot i kinda need the scarf," i press my hand on my neck to cover the hickeys. olivia bursts out laughing, taking the scarve off her and wrapping it around me.
i walk into the house, olivia no where to be seen. i don't shout her name in case she was sleeping, so after i check the couch in the living room and the kitchen, i walk upstairs.
i open the bedroom door. "i'm in here! sorry i couldn't meet you downstairs," olivia says from the bathroom. "it's okay!" i say, placing my phone on the bed. i walk into the bathroom, seeing olivia in the bath tub. "hey love," she smiles. "hey," i smile back, closing the door. "how was work?" she asks as i take off my jacket. "work was good," i say, "did you have fun at iris'?" "i did," she giggles. "what's so funny?" i ask, chuckling too as i take off my shirt. "nothing," she says, watching as i unclip my bra, taking off my shorts.
i place all my clothes in the hamper, walking towards liv. i place my hand on the side of the bath tub, getting in. olivia's hands go to my waist as i place my other leg in, guiding me down on top of her. "no bubbles this time?" i ask olivia, laying my head on her shoulder. "i've matured," she announces. "you had bubbles, like, three days ago," i say, olivia's hands going to my ass. "yeah... i ran out," olivia admits. i laugh, and she chuckles. "we'll get some next shopping trip," i say. "thanks," she says, "i have an interview tomorrow." "for your album?" i ask. "yeah." "still doing them?" i close my eyes, pressing my lips on olivia's neck. "yeah, they're fun," she says, "actually, do you wanna do an interview with me? i mean, the album's literally about you. a few people wanted you to be in their interview." "i'll think about it," i say. "okay, thank you," she says.
olivia and i get into bed, sitting up against the headboard. i place my hand on olivia's knee, and she winces. "my knee's sore," she says. "this one?" i ask, lightly hitting her knee. "y/n!" she gasps, "it hurts!" "okay, sorry," i laugh. she pushes me to the side, "you're so mean." "i'm sorry," i smile, sitting up, "i can give you a massage if you want." "i think that'll make it worse," she admits, "it's alright. thanks though." i smile at olivia, and she aggressively hits my knee. "ow!" i yell. "payback."
