olivia's pov , 1 month later
i lay in bed, smiling as i feel y/n's lips on my forehead. "have a good day, my love," i whisper. "you too, pretty girl," y/n says, pressing one more kiss to my forehead. hearing the garage door go down as y/n was going to work, i sigh and roll over to my phone, picking it up. i smile at the wallpaper, unlocking it.

i bury my head into y/n's pillow, smelling it as i inhale. i smile, turning back around and pushing myself off the bed.

i walk into the cafe restaurant, seeing y/n as soon as i walk in. y/n looks up from the table she was taking orders on, smiling at me. i smile back, and she looks back down to take orders from a couple.

i chuckle softly as i watch her show the woman her hand, the woman looking at her ring. y/n smiles widely, talking.

following y/n to the counter, she stands behind it, smiling at me. "good afternoon, loyal customer. what can i get you today?" y/n says. i laugh, "hi, pretty barista. i would like the usual, please." "you know, we should create your own drink on the menu. i'll replace the 'iced matcha latte' with 'the olivia special'," y/n smiles, tapping the screen. "i'll pay you to do it," i smile, taking out my phone. y/n chuckles, "you've already got your contribute here," y/n says, and we both look at the photo frame hanging up.

i nod, looking back at y/n. "do you think we should change it to our wedding photo?" y/n asks. "oh, that'd be so cute!" i exclaim. "okay, i'll do it when i get home," she smiles. i tap my card in the machine, and it beeps. "thanks, olive," y/n says, "need a receipt?" "no thanks," i say. "okay, i'll make it now," she smiles.

i smile at y/n as she draws on my cup, before making my drink. "liv," she smiles at me. i walk up to her, and she hands the cup to me. i twist it around, smiling at the picture. "um, it's a little rushed, but you get the idea."

y/n had drawn our wedding, both of us facing each other with the words 'i do' in above us.

"you're so cute," i laugh. y/n laughs too, "um, thank you." i laugh again, "you're so awkward!" "sorry! It's just- i don't know how to respond," she smiles. "it's okay," i say, "it's cute." y/n laughs again, and so do i.

y/n and i look at our wedding photo in the frame. "do you have a sharpie?" y/n asks. i lean forward, taking out a sharpie from the pen cup. y/n puts the lid in her mouth, pulling off the cap. she starts to write, and i take the lid out between y/n's teeth.

i smile at her writing on the top border.

'married!!♡'

i grin, kissing y/n's cheek.

y/n's pov
i open the door, seeing conan, iris, tate, gracie and dan. "jesus," i say after quickly swallowing the strawberry in my mouth. they laugh, and i let them in. "finishing the song?" i assume. "yeah," conan says. "i'm their emotional support person," iris grins as she walks past me. "oh, don't worry, me too," i chuckle.

iris and i sit together, and i offer her the bowl of strawberries. she takes one, and olivia walks up to me. "excuse me," she says, turning her back to me. i move the strawberries away from me as olivia sits on my lap. i wrap my arm around her, placing the strawberries on her lap. she looks down, "mmm! yum." i smile as she takes one, placing it on her mouth.

olivia leans back, placing her head in the crook of my neck. she looks at me, and i smile as i look at her. she pokes her tongue out, crossing her eyes as she looks at it. i poke my tongue out, letting the tip of our tongues touch.

olivia stands up, passing the bowl of strawberries to iris. we walk upstairs, and i put my suit on, walking to my camera. i pick it up, turning it on as olivia stands beside me. i aim it at olivia, and she smiles. i take a picture, chuckling. "how long will you be?" she asks. "um... maybe an hour or two," i say. "okay," olivia says. i turn the camera off, holding my mask in the other hand.

i face olivia, kissing her forehead twice.

olivia's pov
i hear some sounds upstairs, and i stand up from the couch. "i'll be back, guys," i walk to the door, walking upstairs.

i walk into our bedroom, seeing y/n pull off her mask as she sat on the end of the bed, running her hand through her hair. something was wrong. i close the door and walk over to her, sitting beside her.

she keeps her eyes on the floor, taking long, deep breaths. i put my hand palm up, y/n being quick to interlace it with hers. we sit in silence for a few seconds as i keep close attention to y/n's breathing.

once she was breathing at a steady pace, i ask, "what's wrong?" y/n wipes her tears with her other hand. "i... really miss my dad," she whispers. there's a sting in my heart. "i should already be over him. he left, like, four years ago. i haven't heard from him since. i haven't seen a picture of him recently in forever," she says, "i just... really wonder if he misses me as much as i miss him."

it takes everything in me to be strong for y/n right now as tears stream down her face. the rest of my friends were downstairs, so i was hoping they wouldn't knock on our bedroom door. i use my hand to wipe her tears, and she closes her eyes. i could never understand who could leave their daughter and make it seem so easy.

y/n opens them again, sniffling, "do you think he knows i got married?" i take a second, "well... it's been everywhere. "i just wanna call him. tell him everything that's happened these past few years," y/n says, "it'd be embarrassing if he didn't answer. he probably wouldn't. maybe he got a new phone number. or maybe... maybe he hasn't contacted me because he's ashamed i'm his daughter. who knows?"

a tear falls down my cheek, and i shake my head, "don't think that." "i can't help it." "y/n, anyone would be proud to call you their daughter. please don't overthink. maybe he needs time to figure things out. he's obviously thought about you," i say. "maybe that makes it worse. he's thought about me, but never taken the time to call me," y/n says. "don't overthink it, my love," i say, "you can always try to call. when you're ready." "i don't know when i'm ready," y/n sighs, "i have these bursts of confidence some days, and other days it's just like this." "you'll figure it out," i squeeze her hand, "and i'll be here to help you. we're in this together, aren't we?" y/n looks at me, smiling faintly as she nods.

i run a shower for y/n, and she walks slowly into the bathroom. "want me to shower with you?" i ask, pressing the palm of my hand to her spider logo. "no, it's okay," y/n says, "everyone's probably waiting for you down there." "promise?" i ask, sliding the suit off y/n's shoulder. she steps out of it, "promise."

i smile, wrapping my arms around y/n. "i love you," i say, "so, so, fucking bad." y/n chuckles softly, her arms going securely around my waist, "i love you so, so, so fucking bad." y/n rubs my back, and i pull away seconds later. "you don't have to come down, okay?" i tell her, rubbing her shoulders. "i know," y/n says, "thank you." "that's okay," i smile, pressing a kiss on her lips, "enjoy your shower."
