we meet at conan's apartment again, and i close the door after liv gets out. we get into conan's car, driving to conan's mom's house. olivia lays her head on my shoulder, scrolling on tiktok.

i fumble with my web shooter, seeing olivia look at me. i slide the on, shooting one on olivia's jeans. i hold the web, pulling the string up. olivia's leg goes up, and she laughs.

we walk into conan's mom's house, seeing the rest of his family here, cousins, uncles and aunties. olivia holds my hand as we greet conan's family.

olivia and i look down as i feel a tug on my leg. "hi," i smile at the boy who looks around five. "are you... spider-woman?" he asks. olivia giggles, and i laugh. "like, the super amazing superhero?" i grin, olivia bumping my arm. "yeah!" he exclaims. "maybe," i say, turning around.

we look down at him as he stands in front of me. "can you do something cool?" he asks. "i'm not spider-woman," i lie. "oh," he frowns. "i'm kidding, i am," i let go of olivia's hand, crouching down to him and whispering, "you can't tell anyone, though." his eyes light up, and olivia laughs. i stand back up, "what's your name?" "troy," he answers. "like, troy in 'high school musical'?" olivia genuinely asks.

after eating, we all head to the backyard. i bend my legs jump onto the trampoline, looking down at olivia. "wanna hop on?" i ask. "no thank you," olivia laughs, folding her arms and watching me. "your loss!" i exclaim, starting to jump. i jump higher, tucking my legs and flipping backwards.

i land on my shoes, continuing to jump. "don't fall, dimples!" olivia says. i stop jumping, looking at her, "babe... i'm literally spider-woman. watch this!" "wait," olivia says, taking her phone out.

she starts filming, and i start jumping again. i bounce high, launching myself up. i tuck back, doing as many flips as i can. my spine tingles, a sign for me to stop flipping. i land on my feet after four flips. "wow!" olivia laughs, putting her phone in her pocket. "come on here, please!" i say. "i just ate," olivia says, walking up and holding the edge. "like, an hour ago! come on, liv," i smile, kneeling down and putting a hand down.

she takes my hand, and i help her up. "haven't been on one of these for years," olivia says, letting go of my hand as she starts to jump. i smile, jumping in time with her. "hold my hands, my love," she says, placing her hands out. i take olivia's hand, and we start to jump in a circle, laughing.

i hop off the trampoline, turning around to liv. "catch me!" she exclaims, falling. i laugh, catching olivia and putting her down. "that was fun," olivia says, out of breath. she slouches her arm around the back of my neck, leaning into me.

i sit on the patio, a few of conan's family here, conan, iris, madison and i on one long couch. i smile as olivia walks over, holding a can of coke. "here," i say, moving over. "thank you," she says, sitting down beside me. she hands me her drink. "oh, no thank you," i say, "did you want me to hold it?" "it's okay," olivia laughs, taking it back.

we look at conan's uncle, george. "so, how long have you and liv been together, y/n?" he asks. "just over five years," i say. we all chuckle at the adults' shocked faces. "wait, how old are you?" conan's aunt, bianca, asks. "i'm twenty-four," i say. "how old are you, liv?" she asks. "twenty-four too," olivia answers. "wow, good on you guys!" she exclaims happily. "thank you," olivia giggles, laying her head on my shoulder.

a week later
olivia and i sit at the dining table, dinner almost done. "hey, so i've been thinking," she says. "i'm sure you have," i look at her, taking a fork of pasta in my mouth. olivia chuckles, "um, i kinda wanna move to new york." i swallow, "huh? like- permanently?" "uh, yeah," she says, placing pasta in her mouth.

i watch as she holds her finger up, signalling me to wait for her to chew. i nod, and she swallows. "yeah, i just feel like, i don't know," she sighs, looking ahead, "it's really nice in new york... and my music, you know?" "i know," i say. "would you... move with me?" she asks, "if i were to, because i don't wanna move without you." "um... i don't know," i answer, "i have my mom here. i can't just... leave her by herself... and my job, my friends, you know?" "i know," olivia says. "would you, uh, move if i wasn't going to?" i ask. "i'm not sure," olivia says, "i really, really can't imagine not living with you." "likewise," i say, standing up and picking up my plate.

i pick up olivia's too, walking to the kitchen. "i don't know, y/n," olivia sighs as we walk upstairs. "i don't know either, liv," i say. "would you want me to go?" she asks as i walk into the closet. "not sure," i say, "i think you should do what's gonna make you happy." "you know that you make me happy," she frowns as i take a jacket off the hanger.

i pin my name badge on. "i really... don't know, y/n," she whispers, sitting on the edge of the bed. "what about dan?" i ask. "dan's staying here," olivia says. i look at olivia, giving her a slow shrug. "um, anyways. i gotta go to work," i say, holding her chin and placing two kisses on her forehead, "bye, liv."

i walk to the door, opening it. "i love you," olivia says. i look at her, smiling, "i love you too. i'll see you soon."

i start to pour a coffee, seeing jess come up to me and starting to make a drink. "liv wants to move to new york," i say. "what? seriously?" she asks. "yeah," i say, handing the drink to the customer and walking back to jess. "are you gonna go?" jess asks, putting the lid on. "um, i'm not sure. you know, i don't want to," i say, "i've got everything i need here... it's hard to imagine having another job, and i can't imagine doing long distance with olivia." "i get it," jess says, "you guys are clinging lips twenty-four seven." i laugh, "no, we're not." "just do what's best for you, y/n," jess says.

i walk back into the house, and olivia walks up to me. "hey," she says, placing her hand softly on my chest and kissing me. i kiss her back, pulling away, "hey." "how was work?" she asks, walking upstairs. "it was alright," i say, following her, "what'd you do at home?" "nothing much," olivia says.

i walk into the room, getting changed and sitting on the bed. olivia walks into the bathroom, and i look at her laptop beside me. i look at the website. apartments in new york. i hear the bathroom door open, and i look at olivia.

she lifts her laptop up, sitting down and placing it on her lap. "you're already looking at apartments?" i ask. olivia shakes her head, closing it and putting it on her bedside table. "i was just bored," olivia says. "okay," i answer, picking up my phone. olivia places her hand on top of my phone, gently pressing it down. "what's wrong?" she asks. "i don't know, it's just... weird to think about us not being physically together all the time," i say, placing my phone on the bedside table, "i want what's best for you." "i know, and i love you for that," olivia says, sitting on my lap now, "i feel like, no matter how much you love someone, long distance would be hard." "yeah," i whisper. "you know, your mom could live with us," olivia cracks a smile as her hands go to my jaw.

i crack a smile too and look down, "i don't know." "you know a lot of stuff, my love," olivia says, leaning her head down. her nose goes underneath mine as she tilts to the side, making me look up as she lifts her face up. "talk to me," she whispers. "i don't know what to say," i chuckle. "y/n, i don't know if i'm gonna move. i just had a dream about it last night and it kinda sparked my interest," she says, "maybe it's just a phase." "maybe," i say. olivia hums before kissing me.

we lay down, and olivia's back was towards me. i slide my hand up her shirt, running my hands around her back. "wait," she whispers, facing me and laying on top. "i love you," she says, "i love you so much. like, so much my heart could explode." i smile, "i know, pretty girl. i love you a lot more." "don't start this," olivia chuckles, wrapping her arms around my neck, "now, please, please draw on my back." "okay," i chuckle, olivia sitting up and taking off her shirt.

i smile at the sight, "no bra." olivia laughs, laying back down, "no bra." i pull the blanket up, placing my hands on her back and starting to massage her back with the tips of my fingers until olivia falls asleep.
