NO way. What was Helise talking about? Paano? Bakit? Maraming tanong si Barbara habang pauwi siya sa mansyon. Malakas ang kabog ng dibdib niya, buong buhay niya ay ngayon lang siya kinabahan ng ganito. After all her sacrifices! She will not let anything goes in vain! She will make sure to get rid of that woman! She’s the thorn in her happiness and success.

Dumiretso si Barbara sa silid ng anak. Tiffany was still sleeping peacefully. She dialed someone while pacing back and fort, she was biting her fingernails.

“Hello?”

“What do you need?” anang kabilang linya.

“When are you going to get rid of that woman!?” hindi mapigilang sigaw niya. Bahagyang nagulat si Tiffany pero hindi naman ito nagising. “She was trying to destroy my plans, Jonas!”

“What? I thought we’re not gonna contact each other again? You already got what you wanted. A rich husband, you whore.”

“Shut up!” asik niya. “I need you to get rid of that woman. Helise San Isidro.” mariing aniya bago marahas na binaba ang tawag.

Napasabunot si Barbara sa sariling buhok dahil sa labis na pagkainis. Yes, it was their plan all along. Jonas being the broker of Guadalupe farm, she, being the pitiful probinsyana farmer who will fall in love with the new owner.

They planned it all along. She wasn’t a pure Batangueña, she was Jonas’ girl even when she’s just a minor! She’s originally working at some bar before settling down in Guadalupe farm. Her life has been aweful until she joined Jonas’ long term plan. They were just after their money when things gets messy. That bastard killed the former owner of that farm and leave her hanging! Mabuti na lang at talagang nakapalagayan na niya ng loob si Tristan noon! She was just planning to seduce him by acting very pitiful! But she felt the urge of owning him.

Akala niya ay magiging kuntento siya sa pagiging kabit ni Tristan at ang buong akala niya rin ay hindi na niya makikita si Jonas because of his crimes! He became fugative. Pero sinundan siya nito sa Manila at sa tuwing wala si Tristan noon sa condo ay nagpapagalaw siya kay Jonas. They relationship ended when Tristan married her. Mag kaniya-kaniya na sila dahil maayos na ang buhay ni Barbara ngayon.

She’s not a poor pick up girl anymore! She has a house, nice car and a rich husband! Tristan surely loved her not until his ex-wife came to the picture!

She felt threatened! Bakit pa kailangan bumalik ng babaeng iyon?

Bumukas ang pinto ng silid, inuluwa niyon si Tristan na mukhang kararating lang galing opisina. Barbara started faking her cries, she run towards her husband and cry in his arms.

“What’s wrong?” alo nito sa kaniya.

She continued crying. “I saw your ex-wife kanina. She’s still stalking me! She even slapped me. We should sue her, hon.” she looked at him.

Hinawakan siya nito sa magkabilang balikat at saka inalis ang pagkakayakap niya rito.

“Why would Helise do that? Hindi niya gagawin iyon sayo ng walang dahilan.” his voice became gentle when he said the name of his ex-wife.

“Are you siding to her?” hindi makapaniwalang tanong niya. “do you still love her?”

Hindi ito sumagot.

“You still do!?” akusa niya. “how could you! May anak na tayo! Binigay ko sayo ang lahat! Bakit?!”

“Shh... Magigising si Tiffany.”

“No!” tinapik niya pataboy ang kamay ni Tristan. “Aalis kami ni Tiffany kung hindi ka magigising dyan sa ilusyon mo! Hindi ka na mahal ng ex-wife mo! She’s even pregnant now with her new husband! May bago na siyang buhay, Tristan.”
