Dylan walked over to the side and sat while Carl sat by his side.
She looked at him and smiled seeing a guy driving.
"He is this rich. He has a driver and still walks." She thought.
"Mam, are you set?" The person driving asked and she smiled.
"Yes I am." She replied.
She turned to look at Dylan who wasn't looking at her.
Dylan smiled knowing she was about to meet the love of her life.
His friend who is driving needs a woman and he is ready to pair Carl with his friend.
He felt good that his friend is wealthy to a point to be able to afford a comfortable life for Carl. He could only hope that Carl gets to like his friend quickly.
Carl looked at him again as he wasn't looking at her.
"Dylan!" She called and he looked at her.
"Yes Carl." He said.
She smiled noticing that he didn't put the respect he had always put in her name whenever he calls her.
"Why aren't you looking at me. Remember you asked me out on a date and not the other way." She said and Dylan smiled nodding his head.
"Yes I did and I am so sorry for leaving you alone." He said and she smiled.
"Alright." She said.
Minutes later the car packed out of a building and Dylan got down from the car. He walked over to where Carl was and opened the door for her.
Carl got down the car smiling with the flower with her.
"Am I to drop it in?" She asked indicating should she drop the flower in the car.
"Your wish." Dylan said and she decided to take the flower in.
Getting in, she looked around.
There could be seen guys with their ladies. Some of them were dancing, some discussing and some were enjoying their meal.
The person who drove them also entered minutes later and went to sit alone.
Carl smiled imaging that he was given his free will to sit there.
Dylan walked to her minutes later and offered her a bottle of champagne while he took a normal drink.
He knows the effect which Campagne can have on him.
After having some sip, Carl looked straight into Dylan's eyes.
"Why don't you have a sip of my Campagne?" She asked as she thought on how unusual he is acting.
Dylan couldn't say no but he needed a way out. He can't take champagne.
For a person who hasn't taken Campagne for sixteen years, how was he going to behave if he takes it.
He remembered when he took champagne before his mother left his father. He was 12 years of age then and his mother had told him that a strong man drinks it.
"This is what a strong man drinks. Your father can't drink this because he is weak." His mother said.
He remembered his mother forcing him to drink it and this almost led to him sleeping with her.
Back to the present,
"Dylan!" Carl called again and he smiled.
"Alright Carl." He said.
