The following morning, Carl wakes up from a dream. She dreamt of Dylan smoothly rubbing her hair.

"I can't allow myself think of him. I can't allow myself even dream of him." She said to herself. "I guess the reason I dreamt of him is because I haven't thanked God for not making me get married to him."

She rose up and went to take her bath.

Done taking her bath, she walked to the room and dressed applying some cosmetic.

She walked out of the room with a smile on her face.

Melinda walked to her with a cup of tea which she rejected as she felt she was to thank God before taking anything in.

 "Why Miss." Melinda asked.

"I don't just feel like having it." She said.

"Alright Miss." Melinda said and walked with the cup of tea back to the kitchen.

Carl sat on the couch giggling.

"I would be out of here soon." She said to herself.

Few minutes later, she got up and announced that she was leaving.

"Alright Miss." Melinda said and bade her goodbye.

She walked out to her car entering it. She drove off to the church.

Getting to the church, the first set of people she saw were her parents and some of their maid.

The church proceeding had not began so she arrived quite early.

She walked to her Dad and hugged him.

"Father!" She called hugging her father who turned back and smiled.

"Daughter!" Her father said with surprise.

"How are you, Carl?" Her mother asked.

"I am fine, mom." She said leaving her father to hug her mom.

"If I may ask, where is Dylan?" Her father asked but she didn't answer.

 "Carl!" Her mother called.

"Oh, Dylan is fine. We chose to attend our different churches." She lied.

"That's nice but I think you both should attend same church as you are now a couple." Her father said and she nodded.

......

The service started and Carl could feel the presence of God but suddenly her heart diverted to thinking about Dylan.

"I don't need to worry. I am surely going to forget about him once and for all." She said.

When they were told to pray, she found herself suddenly praying for Dylan. She shook her head slightly when she noticed this but still was praying for Dylan.

 The service took an hour.

At the end of the service, she chose to go to her parents house as it been long.

"Won't Dylan want to see you?" Her mother asked and she shook her head.

"We would be going out in the evening." She said and her mother nodded.

Her mother smiled as she watched Carl enter her car.

"I wish to see my future son." She said and Carl smiled.

"Do not worry, he is quite busy but will meet you soon." Carl said not wanting to let them know about Dylan's affair yet.

She closed the door and drove to her parents house.
