The next day, Dylan walked into his office feeling happy. He meets Josh on his way to the office.
" Hey Dylan." Josh said greeting him.
"Hi Josh." Dylan said giving him an handshake.
"How was your night?" Josh asked and Dylan smiled.
"It's fine." Dylan said replying him.
"That's nice." Josh said and they continued walking.
Reaching the office, Josh remembered his advice to Dylan the last day.
"So how did it go?" Josh asked.
"Can I have my sit first?" Dylan asked and Josh laughed.
"Yes you can but I am eager to know her reply." Josh said and Dylan looked at him.
"You never stop talking." Dylan said and Josh bursted out laughing.
"Alright, you should get sitted." Josh said and Dylan nodded.
Done arranging his table, Dylan looked at Josh and began to explain all that happened between him and Carl and how she gave him a positive response.
"I told you. She would accept you no matter what." Josh said and Dylan began to laugh.
"I am so in love." Dylan said with his hands crossed.
"I will always be there to help you anytime." Josh said and was about to leave for his seat when Dylan spoke up.
"I told her my parents are dead." Dylan said and Josh laughed.
"Alright, no need to worry." Josh said tapping Dylan's shoulder.
"What if she gets to see the boss?" Dylan asked and Josh sighed.
"That's right. The boss is your mother." Josh said.
"Yes she is going to feel I am a liar." Dylan said but Josh tapped his shoulder.
"Then you can explain to her how she left you and your dad alone." Josh said and Dylan nodded.
"Alright, I should go get my table ready." Josh said and ran off to his seat.
Dylan looked at Josh and realized that he didn't ask him about the game.
He got up his chair and walked to where Josh was.
"I forgot to ask about how it went on the field." He said when Josh looked at him.
"Cool as usual." Josh said. "But it can't be compared to when you were with us."
Dylan looked down and smiled.
"Yes, I will miss the club." Dylan said.
Josh smiled and touched his cheek.
"Cheer up, you have something better than the club." Josh said and Dylan laughed.
"Carl isn't a club but an human." Dylan said.
"Alright, I am sorry for calling your girl a thing." Josh said and they laughed.
"I am sure you've started calling her sweet names." Josh said.
Dylan sniffled and smiled remembering how he called her his love.
Realizing that his friend was lost in his world, Josh waved a hand across Dylan's face making him snap out of his thoughts.
" I know the answer to my question. " Josh said.
