Dylan sat on his couch at home thinking of how his work has been in the company.

"This is annoying." He said holding a glass cup.

He was thinking of how his mother had tried forcing him to leave with her.

He got up from the couch and looked around.

"For many years, I have been living alone with no one being with me but yet she calls me lonely. She says that I need to stay with one of my parents but to me they are both dead. I don't care if she is still alive. She died to me ever since she left my father. " He said.

" Why do I care to think about it? " He asked himself and sat back.

He picked up a newspaper and started reading it.

Few minutes later, his phone began to ring and he picked it up.

" Who could it be? " He asked himself as he picked up the call.

"Hello." He said into the phone.

"Hello Dylan, how are you?" The person asked.

"I am fine but please who is this?" He asked and the person began to laugh.

"This is my new number." The person said.

"Carl!" Dylan called because he had been avoiding her call but the caller began another laughter.

"No, it's Josh." The person said surprising Dylan.

"Josh!" Dylan called.

"Yes, it's me and not your love." Josh said and a smile crossed Dylan's face.

"Josh!!!" Dylan called.

"Oh, I am so sorry. I forgot my promise." Josh said.

"It's alright." Dylan said.

"Alright I called..." Josh paused.

"What do you want to say?" Dylan asked.

"Calm down bro. I just want to remind you of today's match as this is going to be your last match with us." Josh said and Dylan began to laugh.

"We are still going to see at our workplace." Dylan said.

"Yes but that is going to end after the next week." Josh said and Dylan nodded.

"Yes, that's right. I am going to miss you." Dylan said and Josh laughed.

"Alright, when will you like to leave?" Josh asked.

"Next month." Dylan said.

"What next?" Josh asked.

"No need to worry. I have seen a design contract work." He lied.

"Alright." Josh said.

They spoke on other things then ended the call.

Dropping his phone, Dylan picked up the newspaper but all he could see was Carl in every lady's picture in the newspaper.

"Why do I see Carl in each and every lady's picture?" Dylan asked himself taking in a deep breath.

"I know that I love her but I can't seem to stay with this feeling. I do not want her to feel I just want to be with her all for her money. I can't be like mother. How is she going to see me when she notices that I am not as rich as she thinks. I won't want her to think I am a gold digger neither can I fall in love with her. " Dylan said to himself.

He took in a deep breath and walked to his room dropping the newspaper.

Getting to his room, his phone began to ring and he picked it.
