The following day, Carl woke up and decided to go down the stair to see what is going on.
"Good morning Miss." Melinda said greeting Carl.
"Good morning Melinda." Carl said responding to Melinda's greeting.
"Miss, your parents." Melinda said pointing sideways.
"My parents." Carl said smiling.
She looked so excited and runs to where Melinda pointed to.
She smiled seeing her parents.
"Mum, Dad!" She called immediately seeing them.
"Carl Robin." Her father called and hugged her.
"How is my angel doing?" Her mother asked and she smiled.
"Doing great Mum." Carl said and hugged her mother.
"You called yesterday saying that you don't feel good." Mr. Robin said and Carl became moody as tears began to flow down her face.
"Tell me Carl, what's wrong?" Mrs. Robin asked but Carl shook her head.
"Do not worry, Mum." Carl said smiling. "There's nothing wrong."
Mr. and Mrs. Robin both looked at their daughter.
"Alright." They both said looking at their daughter.
Carl had promised herself not to feel bad when Dylan told her he doesn't want to date her again.
"He lied to me. The girl isn't his sister but his girlfriend." She had told herself while driving home the day before.
Carl looked at her parents and smiled. She remembered telling herself that she is going to get married to the first man she ever falls in love with but here she is without the man.
She remembered how she had seen Dylan the first day.
Joel walked into the house and her parents looked at him.
"He is?" Her mother asked.
"My guard." Carl said.
She looks at Joel.
"This are my parent and I will like to spend the day with them so I won't be going to work." She said.
"Alright Miss but I am here to do my duty.
Carl's parents looked from Carl to Joel.
" He is perfect for the work. " Mr. Robin said.
Joel walked to stand against the wall.
" I need to go up in order to take my bath." Carl said.
" Alright, you may go." They both replied and she walked up the stair.
Minutes after taking her bath, she walked out to the living room and sat down comfortably in between her mother and father placing her hand across their neck.
" I have missed you both. " She said to them.
"We''ve also missed you." Her mother said.
Minutes later, Julian walked to them with a tray and placed the three plates down and also cup of water.
"Mind joining us?" Mrs. Robin asked looking at Joel who shook his head.
Mr. Robin looked at his daughter again and smiled.
"About your boyfriend?" He asked.
"I met with him yesterday and he told me that he would be traveling." Carl lied.
