The following day, Dylan walked into the company with confidence. They had been advised to get to the company an hour earlier so that they can go for the contract work as quick as possible.
Dylan walked to Josh immediately.
"Hi Josh." He said.
"Hi Dylan. I am sorry for..." He was saying but Dylan stopped him raising his hand up.
"What are friends for if I can't forgive you?" Dylan asked.
A smile crossed Josh face. He had an handshake with Dylan.
"Thank you, Dylan." He said.
Dylan walked back to take his sit but was stopped by Josh voice.
"I hope you make up to your promise." Josh said and Dylan turned back.
"Yes, I am up for it." Dylan said and Josh nodded smiling.
Dylan looked at Josh and thought for a while.
"How are you going to know that she...." Dylan was saying but Josh interrupted him.
"Just leave that to me." Josh said. "But do not look at her."
"Alright." Dylan said.
"She may be my catch." Josh said and Dylan looked on.
"Do remember that you have a girl." Dylan said.
"I do remember that but I also remember that she isn't your girl." Josh said laughing but on seeing that Dylan had no expression on he changed his look.
"I am sorry, man." Josh said and Dylan began to laugh.
"You want to date a lady richer than you." Dylan said.
Josh decided to reply Dylan back but was stopped when the messager entered the office.
"You all are to go now." She said and Dylan smiled.
"Let's go to work." Josh said.
They were given a box of decorations and another box containing the necessary materials.
They all walked to the vehicle that was waiting outside.
"Over here Josh." Dylan said calling Josh to sit beside him.
When everyone had entered, the vehicle drove on.
Dylan talked with Josh as the vehicle moved on.
He looked out the window and smiled.
"What is it?" Josh asked and looked out the window.
He stared at the beauty that stood out of the window then at Dylan.
"She is beautiful." He said turning to Dylan who looked away.
"Is it wrong of me?" Josh asked but Dylan didn't answer.
Few minutes later, they reached the place they were to work and all got down.
The things they were to use in the decoration were brought down and they were carried into the house.
They all began to work on the decoration.
Some hours later, they were done with the decoration and were given drinks.
"Hi dear." A lady in the house greeted Dylan who wasn't aware as he kept thinking of what will happen next.
"Hi, I am greeting you." The lady shouted but Dylan was lost in thought.
Josh tapped his friend making him look at the lady.
"I am sorry, I didn't hear you." Dylan said.
The lady smiled and took her sit on another couch.
