Carl walked to Dylan and held his hand.
"You do not need to worry, she is alive so I won't allow her get arrested." Carl said and Dylan took off his hand from her.
"What are you saying, your protection comes first." Dylan said.
"Your happiness comes first." Carl said.
Dylan took her hand into his and rubbed it.
"You do not know my mother. If she can employ someone to do her dirty job for her then she is evil." Dylan said and Joel nodded.
"He is actually saying the right thing, Miss." Joel said and Carl looked at them both.
"Alright." Carl said and thought for a while.
"Miss, I do hope you agree with us." Joel said and Carl nodded.
"Thank you so much, Joel." Carl said as Joel got up to leave.
"Mr. Dylan!" Joel called looking at Dylan.
Dylan looked at him and smiled shaking his head.
"I would be staying overnight." Dylan said.
A smile crossed Carl's face as she heard what Dylan said.
"Really!" She exclaimed and Dylan nodded.
"Alright, I would be leaving." Joel said taking his leave.
Seeing that Joel had left, Carl walked to lock the door then walked close to Dylan.
"How would you get dressed for tomorrow?" Carl asked.
"I would leave here quite early." Dylan said and Carl nodded.
She walked into the kitchen to get dinner.
She walked out of the kitchen with a tray which contained two plates and two cups of water.
She dropped the tray on the table in the living room and walked over to Dylan.
" Let's eat." Carl said.
Dylan looked at the food and smiled remembering when he was young.
"Shrimps and egg." He said and Carl nodded.
"Is there anything wrong with it?" Carl asked and he shook his head.
"Nothing is wrong with it." He said.
He remembered always eating it when he was younger.
"Aren't you eating?" Carl asked.
"I am." He said and they continued eating.
Done with eating, Dylan offered to take the tray back which Carl accepted showing him the way to the kitchen.
Getting to the kitchen, Dylan leaned on the wall thinking of how he is going to live with his lies.
"I am sorry Carl, I love you and won't want to lose you." Dylan said to himself.
He heard Carl's footsteps approaching the kitchen and had to stand upright.
He walked to Carl.
"I was worried as to why you stayed in. Carl said and Dylan rubbed her hair.
" Do not worry. " He said and she smiled.
He walked out with her then switched on the TV.
" I don't watch much." Carl said.
" Busy?" Dylan asked but she shook her head.
"I don't just watch much." She said.
"Alright, you are watching this with me." He said.
The first station was a comedy channel.
