Dylan walked into his office feeling happy. He looked at the books on his table and a smile crossed his face.
"It's a new day." He said smiling.
He just wants to be dedicated to his work and nothing more.
He walks to his chair and takes his sit.
"Hi guys." He heard the friend who he had made in the office say.
"Hi Cricket boy." Dylan say.
The guy looks at Dylan and smile.
"A run for cricket today?" He asked.
"No, I can't. My schedule is tight." Dylan said trying to avoid going to play cricket.
He had once slipped into telling Josh that he loves cricket and ever since Josh had been inviting for a cricket match. Josh was a great cricket player.
In the two matches he had accepted to go for, Josh had been great playing but he never played.
"Come on guy. I know you love cricket. Not only watching it but you want to play it." Josh said and Dylan just laughed it off.
"Oh Josh!" One of the colleague called Josh pointing to the door.
Josh looked and saw Nadosh then winked at Dylan.
Nadosh walked to Dylan's table.
"Meet me out there." Nadosh said and turned back.
"Is this same way you will talk if I were your brother?" Dylan asked and Nadosh turned.
"I do not have a brother and if you ever disrespect me, I will let my mother know and she will bridge your contract." Nadosh said.
"Alright you can go ahead so that I can be away." Dylan said.
Realizing his statement made him get up.
His mother is going to send him out and he would not be getting paid. Also he won't be able to do anything against his mother.
Realizing this, he got up and ran after Nadosh.
He held her hand and took her out.
His mate in the office looked at him amazed but he didn't care. He is surely going to show Nadosh what he got.
"Do you know I like you." Nadosh said getting outside.
Dylan looks at her with no expression.
"I advised my Mom to get you that nice suit but now I think the old bitch wants you for herself." Nadosh said and Dylan couldn't help but laugh.
He liked the way his sister behaved but he does not like her vampire look.
"You are really funny. Why do you call her a bitch?" Dylan asked but Nadosh shook her head.
"It's okay. But if I were you, I wouldn't call her a bitch." Dylan said.
"Why would you say that when you don't know her?" Nadosh asked.
Dylan quickly realizes he is giving her a reason to suspect him and decides to change the way he is talking.
"You see, I never grew up with a mother. I only had a father who trained me. I wish I had a mother, my father would still be alive." Dylan said.
"Wow that's awful." Nadosh said. "Did he ever tell you about your mother?" He asked.
"She died after having me." Dylan said.
Ruth sits in her office hearing the conversation between her children and tears dropped down her face realizing what her son said.
Nadosh felt sorry for Dylan.
