A week later, Carl had gotten to know Dylan 's birthday which is that day so she planned to surprise him with the clothes which has been made for him and a change of house.
Her parents had gotten him the car which they promised.
She picked up her phone while in the office and dialed Dylan's number which he picked on the first ring.
"Hello, my love." Dylan said.
"Hi babe." She said.
"Why the call?" Dylan asked.
"Babe, happy birthday." Carl said surprising Dylan.
"How did you get to know about this?" Dylan asked.
"Through some research." Carl said and Dylan sniffled.
"Alright." Dylan said.
"How do you want it celebrated?" She asked.
"I do not celebrate my birthday's again." He said making Dylan sigh.
"Because of your parents." She said and he smiled.
"Ever since my father's death." He said.
"Alright, would it be cool if I celebrate it with you?" Carl asked Dylan who sighed.
"Alright, you are the present phase of my life which I won't want to leave me." Dylan said making Carl smile.
"Meet me at Park Beach today at 5pm." She said making Dylan smile.
"So romantic." He said making Carl smile.
"Alright, I will be there by 5pm." He said.
After the call, Carl sighed reliefed. She actually was thinking he would refuse celebrating his birthday with her since he stopped celebrating after his father's death.
She held a knock on her door and told the person to come in.
Naomi walked into the office with all she asked her to get from the fashion store.
"Here Miss." Naomi said dropping everything.
"Alright, I want you to package everything just as a gift." Carl said and she nodded.
"With the wears?" Naomi asked.
"Leave the wears." Carl said and Naomi nodded.
"Alright Miss." She said and left the office with the things she brought so as to package them in a presentable way.
Minutes later, she returned to Carl's office and dropped all what she had package on her desk.
"Am I to bring the wears, Miss?" She asked but Carl shook her head.
"No, do not worry about it, I would get it myself before going out." Carl said and Naomi took a bow.
"May I take my leave?" Naomi asked minutes later.
"Yes you may leave." Carl said and Naomi left.
"This should be great." She said.
Hours later, they were done with the day's work and she walked out of the fashion house with Dan.
She entered her car while Dan entered his and trailed her car until she reached her house.
Getting to her house, she took out the wears and called for assistance.
Melinda walked out of the house and greeted her.
"Am I to take this into the house?" She asked herself.
