Two days later, Dylan arrived work late and went into his mother's office.
"Dylan!" Ruth called.
Dylan walked to his mother and pulled a chair close.
"Where is Nadosh?, Do you care about your daughter?" He asked expecting her to say that she has gotten her back.
"You came in late and come into my office just to threaten me." Ruth barked. "You are still my son and..." Ruth was saying but Dylan interrupted.
"But what?" Dylan asked interrupting her.
"Get out of this place unless I will call the police." She said and Dylan stood up.
He placed his hand on the table and looked into her eyes.
"Alright, I will be leaving now but I want to see my sister today." He said and turned to walk away.
"A threat." Ruth said and Dylan looked back smiling then walked away.
Dylan took in a deep breath as he walked into his office.
Getting to the office, he placed his head on the table as he thought.
"Dylan!" He heard Josh call his name and looked up.
"My life is turned in two. One is my sister and the other is Carl." He said and Josh smiled.
"Alright, I will like to know how your life is about them but starting with the second." Josh said.
"I think I am in love with Carl." Dylan said.
"Wow, that's wonderful. Have you told her?" Josh asked but Dylan shook his head.
"I have been avoiding her calls. I don't ever want to be like mother." Dylan said.
"What do you mean by that?" Josh asked.
"She comes from aan average family but got married to a wealthy man who is my father and after having me, she changed completely to him and when I grew up, she left us." Dylan said.
"So you feel that you will leave Carl?" Josh asked.
"Yes I do." Dylan said.
"I don't feel you can. Your mother married your father all because of his money and not because she loves him." Josh said.
"But I think a person can be in love with anyone at any time." Dylan said.
"Dylan, my friend, you know that you really love her so I want you to let her know about your mother who is the reason you don't want her." Josh said.
"Just like that?" Dylan asked and Josh nodded.
"Yes, just like that." Josh said.
"Alright I will do that." Dylan said smiling and Josh gave him a playful punch.
Dylan looked excited that he forgot to tell Josh about Nadosh.
"I can see you are excited but can you let me know about Nadosh." Josh said making Dylan snap out of his fantasy.
"Oh about Nadosh." Dylan said.
"Yes, I don't know but I might be of help." Josh said and Dylan nodded.
Dylan began to tell him about the call which he received from Nadosh to the call he received from the strange man then to his conversation with his mother through the phone. He also told him of how his mother spoke to him that morning.
"Alright, with everything said, I think your mother may have ordered for the kidnap of her daughter or maybe Nadosh is playing a trick on you both." Josh said.
