Iowa's golden eyes scanned over every member of the meeting, each face of disbelief and horror only serving to make her happier and happier with current events. The burning gold eyes she had dimmed as she prepared something.

"Now everyone, to all across the Globe, I'm sure you all have many questions as to why such a beloved woman did all this right? Well...I don't have any reason to answer you all now do I?"

A small light appeared in her hand, soon exploding out as black tendrils of lightning scarred the ground around her. At this moment, those that had the weapons too fired on her, hoping to stop whatever she was doing.

It was all for naught, as the lightning shot between their shells and bullets, disintegrating them, leaving ash to float through the air harmlessly. "Interrupting me are we? That's rude."

With the snap of her fingers, the black lightning arced across the room, jumping from Rigging to Rigging, and leaving them as slowly crumbling wrecks. The weapons held by the humans were destroyed as well, erased to dust by the lightning.

After everyone was effectively disarmed, she stopped the lightning, and stood with her hands behind her back. "Such a shame, you've all lost your diplomatic sides in the time I've been gone."

"Iowa..." Reyard was still standing, staring in complete disbelief. "There's...no way you could be doing thi-"

"Can it you old bastard." She glared into the Old man's eyes, taking a single step towards him. "How can you possibly know what I'd be acting like, after all that time in the deep?"

Her eyes grew sharper, and her posture definitely shifted, with much more anger visibly shown than before. "I was trapped in Hell for years, helpless to the disgusting things that ate away at my flesh and body...and then, I was free, and it only took nine damn years."

She took another step, but when she did, a strange purple aura grew from the point of contact. It started slow, but seemingly "exploded", covering the entire room in the dark light.

Iowa herself was completely enshrouded by it, her eyes the only things left untouched. "Yet, when I felt that I had finally survived...you, and them...ruined it all!"

"Iowa, I didn't want to have that happen." He stepped around the table, his hands up as he slowly went down the stairs, actually approaching her.

"Admiral! What are you doing?!" Yorktown spoke out, almost in a whisper-yell. "We don't even know if she's genuine about being Iowa!"

"All the evidence is right in front of me Yorktown..." He turned to look at her, the look in his eyes unreadable. "I'd know."

"Touching." His attention came back to Iowa, who was now right in front of him, still cloaked in darkness. "Don't act like we're friends James, you lost that privilege after what happened on that ship."

He stood unfazed, taking a deep breath before going to speak. "I know I don't deserve that, and I doubt I'd ever regain that. Yet..."

He looked past her, seeing both Oni and Haku completely shrouded as well. "Those two are a testament to how you've changed, and how much you truly care."

"Oh? How so?"

"You know what I said. We served together for well over three decades." He crossed his arms, lowering himself and closing the gap between him and Iowa even more. "You know damn well what I mean by how much you care..."

...

On Iowa's darkened visage, a thin trail soon appeared, widening as she revealed an unnerving smile upon the black smudge in space she occupied. "Ahh~, I see what you mean~."
