Kii's rugged breathing and painful gasps were all the two remaining Clevelands could hear, the Battleship straining herself to the limit to get them all away from the monster that was surely to come after them soon enough. Even as they ran, the mere thought of Haku being behind them never left, and it kept Kii going far beyond what she ever could have before.

"What kind of monster..." Montpelier was the most in shock, horrified of the beast that killed both Columbia and Denver so simply.

Cleveland herself was lost in her mind, slowly going over the deaths of two of her sisters, letting the emotions in her simmer as Kii carried her. Even with her mind the way it is, she still knew what had to be done, and slowly closed her eyes and calmed herself, activating her radio.

"Hello...are the comms up?"

...

...

"I hear you Cleveland, they're up again."

A smile came to Cleveland's face, knowing that if they're up, it must have meant the attacking force has been reduced quite a bit. "Thank God...we need backup in the middle of Town, Haku's here and sh—"

CRASH!!

They all turned their heads to the sound, their eyes shrinking as terror filled their veins at what they saw. A building was crumbling inwards, but not due to an explosion that knocked down the architecture, but because of what had just run through it.

A massive black scaled monster, easily five...no, six times their size even when hunched the way it was. It's body was bulky and muscular, with the barest hints of being anything resembling a human visible, only really with the stature and upright posture helping.

It's long white tail, just as any Re's, had a mouth at the end, one filled with razor sharp teeth and twice their size, easily capable of swallowing them whole should they get close. There were no guns however, which...didn't help the feeling of facing this behemoth seem any easier.

Then it's head...it couldn't ever have been a Human if it tried. A mouth full of teeth, an elongated head, arrow shaped like a Lizard or even a Dragon, and two black antlers raising upwards, forming the shape of a sharpened crown atop it's head.

As it turned to look at them, the one eyed gaze gave away all they needed to know...

Cleveland immediately pulled her radio back up. "WE NEED HELP NOW!! GET ANYONE YOU CAN TO THE CITY CENTER!!

She covered her ears, as the others had, when Haku roared to the sky upon seeing them. It was a soul piercing wail that sounding just like a Mountain Lion's cry, only somehow even more horrific and ethereal. That's when the first stomp was heard, and Kii picked up pace yet again.

Montpelier was crying as she stared at Haku's massive form chasing after them, the sheer sight of it too much for her to comprehend as she suffered from a breakdown of the day's events. Kii huffed and gasped for breath, already exhausted from the extended run while carrying the two of them from the battlefield.

Then Cleveland broke free from her arm. "Pass her to me!"

Kii looked the girl in the eyes, seeing her completely lucid, so she agreed and passed her sister to her. With the lessened weight, Kii was able to at least get her bearings, before the stomps could be heard again.

She looked over her shoulder and saw the huge hooved legs of the transformed Re slam down on a car, crushing it to scrap as she chased after them in a somewhat slow gait, for something her size at least. Naturally, she was actually gaining on them with her huge steps, and she was gaining quickly.
