Luna's POV

When Sun came with the proposition to go on a trip I was excited. I needed to get out of this town. It was just becoming too much to deal with. In movies girls always act as if it's fun to have two guys fighting over you, but in all honesty it's not. Because one always gets hurt in the process.

I didn't like Kol. He was friendly and gentleman-like at first, but now it felt like he was using me to make Damon angry. As if he only cared about pissing Damon off. I obviously didn't know how long they had been fighting for, but there seemed to be a lot of bad blood. I liked Damon though. A lot. There was more about him than you could see from the surface. He hid himself behind his bad boy image and I didn't know why.

I had trouble leaving Damon alone. It is weird I didn't want to be clingy or anything, but as I said earlier I feel safe when I'm around him and safety is something I really cherish at the moment. However I was determined to use this trip to talk to Sun about Damon, because these shady looks they have been throwing each other need to stop as soon as possible.

The boys and Sun left so I could get dressed. Oh it hurt so bad, but I gritted my teeth and tried to ignore the pain and after some tries I got accustomed to it and I hardly felt it. I smiled, proud for once of my perseverance. I put on a mustard coloured flowy dress with some black strappy heeled sandals and packed my old leather suitcase. I just threw some of my favourite clothing pieces in there plus the essentials.

I went over to my makeup table and applied a bit of volumising mascara to my lashes and a rosy tinted blush to my cheeks. A bit of perfume and I was all ready to go down. I walked down the steps and when I got downstairs Elijah and Klaus were there as well. Elijah hugged me and we talked for a bit while Klaus and Sun were doing whatever in the kitchen. Seriously, I didn't want to know.

Damon and Kol were sitting on the couch with a lot of space in between them. Kol looked arrogant and Damon just looked angry and disagreeing. Sun came walking into the living room just in time, because it was getting rather awkward in here. I asked her where we were going, but she didn't want to ruin the surprise. I strongly dislike surprises and Sun knows it. I said goodbye to everyone and was surprised to see Damon had left without saying anything.

Disappointed I told Sun I'd be waiting for her in the car. When I got to the car I saw Damon leaning on the car hood. I reckon I must have been smiling from ear to ear. I walked over to him and said I was already wondering where he went. "Didn't want to be stuck in that room with Kol any longer, plus I know you don't like to see us fighting and Sun told me, well basically ordered me and Kol to leave you alone so you can make up your mind." He explained himself. "Make up my mind?" I looked confused, why would I have to make up my mind? It was already pretty made up if you ask me. Damon frowned and with a serious look on his face he said "Yeah, you're confused about your feelings and then there was a lot of girly talk I honestly didn't pay attention to." I laughed and hugged Damon. Unsurely he patted me on the shoulder. I freed him from the hug, looked at his face and gave him a passionate kiss on his lips.

"My feelings were already made up."
