Klaus was desperately holding onto Sun as if he wasn't willing to let her go. I couldn't help but laugh and looked at Damon who put his finger in his mouth to meme it made him puke. This made me laugh even more. After Sun and Klaus had finally said their goodbyes to each other we drove to the surprise destination only Sun knew about.

When we arrived at the old cabin our parents and we used to go to each summer I got a lump in my throat. It brought back so many memories. Mainly good ones. My dad and I kiting while my mom and Sun were baking cranberry cookies with white chocolate chips. Or the campfires we used to have with s'mores and hot dogs. It made me smile. Of course it was pretty burdensome, with all that had happened, but I wanted this cabin to represent the good memories we had so that when I'd come here I was able to relive them.

Inside I immediately put all my clothes and the clothes Sun had gotten me in the dresser. I liked to do that the moment I arrived somewhere, so it felt more like home. I missed these bunkbeds. I called bottom, I always did that I don't know why. It was pretty dusty in here so I grabbed the vacuum and vacuumed the cobwebs. Better to do that now, because Sun would freak out if she saw any remnants of spiders being in here. It's so funny as daring as she is her biggest fear is spiders.

When I got downstairs I walked over to the picture area and picked up my favourite photo of our family. This was the 4th of July. We were all dressed like true patriots to go look at the fireworks. Don't think a family could look happier in a photo than we did here. Sun walked over to me, laid a hand on my shoulder and looked at the picture with me. We talked and reminisced about the good old days.

Evening came and we had to have dinner, so we decided to buy some groceries. My dad used to keep money at a certain spot in the house and when we checked if there still was any money we found 50 dollars. Very helpful indeed. With the money in our pockets we hopped cheerfully to the local grocery store.

We grabbed a basket and tossed in some yummy foods. I carefully watched the calories, hopefully going unnoticed by Sun. When we were done throwing a shitload in we went to the checkout where we were surprised to see some of our old friends. Aaron and Jonah. Our parents were best friends and we basically grew up together. I even dated Jonah for a while until our parents grew apart and we stopped seeing each other. This was years ago though.

We greeted them and it felt like we were still great friends. They were here without their parents to bring up memories, just like us. We asked them if they wanted to join us for dinner and they happily agreed. We said our goodbyes and left to get dinner ready.
